Dark Lord Day (2020)

Since everyone is saying they aren't doing stuff I got two packagers of dark lord and a prop day package which I will be driving from St Louis to get on one expensive weekend.

The list looks really great for variants though (I've had some but never owned one myself or been to real DLD. Not a scotch fan but am willing to try anything

 

My first Dark Lord Day. Can't wait

 

FOMO almost has me wanting to buy it. Almost. But I'll save my money for GI and Rev. DLD is in a different time of year's budget, anyways. First year we won't have any DLD variants for our New Year's Eve share, looks like.

The real question is when do they end the sale and put the regularly schedule to-go menu back up.

The other question is whether they are counting a total number of sales or sales per date. For example will there be a lot more Saturday sales than Tuesday?

After shitting on the price without a fest... and then seeing that the good majority of variants are pretty decent... combined with having only 1 dark Lord reg on hand and actually enjoying it... and the bottles being printed (so I will cut the tops for glassware)...well... They got me for 1 package. NOT 2, though! That's where i draw the line...FML.

 

I've avoided it still... so far. Lol. Cutting the tops for glassware, eh? Never heard of that...

 

I was actually sorta hoping it was sold out when I bought my 2(sigh) allocations around 3:15

 

They can turn out pretty cool with screen printed bottles:



Some people also turn them into candles.

 

That's awesome. I don't think I'll buy this allotment just to make the glassware, though. No offense @Jagrmaister

this is the kind of kick in the dick 3F has had coming to them for quite some time

 

There been at least one year where the festival still had tickets available for multiple hours, so we shouldn’t be shocked by this. It hasn’t been an instant sellout for awhile.

I bought one allocation and am tempted by another, but holding strong for now.

 

Yeah, I really miss-analyzed this one. Thought for sure these would go as fast as the previous batch in July. Amazing that these are still available. Can't wait to see my variants.

 

The real question is do they leave the packages up until they sell out even if it means after pick-up?
