If I had more time this morning, I'd photoshop hazepecker onto Tyler Durden in memoriam of whoever this rozzom character is you speak of.

Agreed. Can't remember if it was this thread or elsewhere on BA but a comparison was made between Finback and OH stouts with the former integrating crazy ingredients in a way to promote a greater whole whereas OH tosses a ton of shit in there to see what happens (looking at you Cookie Cooks or whatever dumb name you had). Lactose undoubtedly gets lost in the mix and is even less important when OH is already tossing an extra 42 grams of sugar into every 4 oz taster glass with the golden grahams/marshmallows/chocolate. So, your example goes to further prove the point that they don't need to use lactose (at least in theory).

There must be a reason OH does it -- they aren't stupid -- but it evades me.

Good info on the Galaxy and Citra (I am not a fan of Simcoe).

Lines up with my 2019 rant that most newer (and prob mostly younger) "Craft" beer drinkers don't really like beer, they like overly sweet stuff b/c they don't really like the taste of actual beer. Seems to make sense.
I heard from my buddy in VA that it was really good as well as a buddy in BK who got it confirmed as well. I also have some coming at some point.

I did open the Deep Orbit Evil Eye this weekend that my GF wanted me to get. Wasn't bad, def not as sweet as some of the stouts OH has put out which is nice, still a tad on the sweet side though. I also really did not get much coconut at all in it.

Hey folks, been a minute. I see most of this threads degenerates are shitting up another OH thread. I went up to OH Roc last weekend, it was a pretty nice spot. Fire pit was clutch.

other half definitely put some baby making elixir in their beers as I’ll be joining the “can I still drink multiple 8%’ers on a weekend afternoon?” Dad club this spring.

Some sixth sense shit or something. I hadn’t invoked our resident math PhD’s (no the other one) name for months prior to this:

    Grats man.

Last week I was commenting on how light the 'tose has been, now I'm staring down Thursday NoBro delivery with Nelson Daydream, Space Hallucinations, and DDH Double Citra Daydream. Other Half hates locals.

Any thoughts on Glitter Fight Club? Is it anything more than hype? And any thoughts on recent Mylar? I'm thinking 2 each on Glitter, Mylar, and Double Citra

I’m just gonna go out and say it...The Other Day is one of OH’s underrated and least talked about great beers. It is always top notch.

I bought a four pack on Saturday. Gave one to my dad when he was here Sunday - he enjoyed it and that means nothing. I did taste it though and it was pretty solid for 5.5%. I kind of wish I had gotten another 4 pack.

DC, we're back for round 2! We wanted to make pickups run a little smoother this week, so we're opening orders tomorrow, Wednesday at noon for pickup anytime through Sunday. ⠀

We have a great selection of collabs with some of our best buds from across the country available this week! See below for descriptions and some instructions about how to collect your order. Link to order in bio. ⠀

Daydream Nectar Imperial Oat Cream IPA (8.5%) with @cellarmakerbrewing. Our SF besties at Cellarmaker concocted this Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Cashmere driven IPA combined with big oat doses and a pinch of milk sugar to make some juicy, creamy nectar. $20 per 4 pack. ⠀

Fresh Digs Pt. 1 Imperial IPA (8.3%) with @burialbeer and @beardediris. We wanted to get together and brew a beer with our friends at Beaded Iris and Burial to celebrate our DC opening. It just so happens that they are both also opening new locations in the near future. To celebrate we thought we'd drop this Fresh Digs series, one at each location, as we all open up new spots over the next year. Our version is packed with Citra and experimental hop HBC630. Keep an eye out for Burial's and Bearded Iris' versions in the future. $18 per 4 pack. ⠀

Ultimate Technique Imperial IPA (8.3%) with @theveilbrewing. We are super pumped to brew another collab with our good buddies from Richmond. Ultimate Technique is our madman attempt to squeeze even more hop character into a beer. Hopped 8 different times including in the mash and in the brite tank with two of our favorite NZ hops, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. $20 per 4 pack.⠀

TDH Like Woah Imperial IPA (8.0%) We wanted to bring out a hard hitter to celebrate our new DC location so we reached into the archives and pulled out our classic Trillium collab, Like Whoa. Only this time we TRIPLE DRY HOPPED it and swapped out the Wai-iti and Motueka for Strata and Rakau alongside big doses of Citra and Galaxy. $20 per 4 pack.

Agreed. I was given a 5oz taster of it on Saturday night and it was great. Very, very danky for the relatively low abv.

    From EQ:

Today at noon, we will sell, Space Dream Lab a collaboration with @otherhalfnyc (8.0 % ABV DIPA) at $20 per 4-pk, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia.
Our Biggest Dry Hop. Ever. Period. The next beer in our perpetual Dream Lab series with Other Half is here and it is absolutely galactic. Space Dream Lab starts off with a base of wheat and oats and a whirlpool of Galaxy and Citra before an absolutely absurd amount of out just delivered 2020 Galaxy and Citra went in for the dry hop. If you saw our post last Friday, we literally filled our fermenter to the tippy top with hops, something crazy we could only do with the team from Brooklyn.
Space Dream Lab pours like straight yellow Milk with explosive notes of passionfruit, Groove stand OJ, and sticky hops. The flavor is island fruits, orange creamsicle, pineapple in heavy syrup, mango and papaya wrapped up with dank hop profile. It’s milky and creamy finish is loaded up with our #EQjuicemaking it near crushable. A beer fit for the stars.
