In a like vein, Flying Dog's 'Gonzo Imperial Porter' (at 10.0% ABV) can usually be found in bottles in six-pack packaging.

Just looked at the Victory web site. Such a shell of what they were. Prima is the only beer I would buy anymore. Cloud walker is ok. I thought Hop Wallop was not great last year.

So many great beers just gone.

    Enjoy

Yakima Glory, the saints...it's really sad. Fortunately you can still get some surprises on draft but yeah they just don't feel as innovative these days.

I’ve actually been seeing stout at a number of different stores for the first time in a while. I picked a six up last week, enjoyable as always. I couldn’t tell you the last time I saw porter though.

How about regular ten fidy ? Santa fe java stout is a sleeper too but probably not in your distribution footprint.

All my suggestions have already been given. But this thread reminds me how I miss Bear Republic’s big bear black stout. Sold is six packs 8.1% and under $10. It was my go to stout. Made an excellent night cap.

Won’t help the OP in NY, but it looks like, for the CA crowd, Kern River has canned Class V stout. No idea if it’s seeing distribution or can only be bought from the brewery.

Funny thing is storm king used to be in sixers originally, then they switched it to four packs at the same price point.

I think it briefly returned back in six packs as a seasonal before Victory ultimately shut it down. Was a great hoppy stout.

That’s good to hear, shame that it’s gone though, I did enjoy that one a good amount.

That would look like a bank of smoke stacks at a coal-fired power generating plant. That can style is aptly named.

What?! Man I remember that was the craft stout I cut my teeth on as a beer greenhorn. Sad day to hear such news.

Have you tried their new beer of Classic Lager yet? I really, really like that beer! I have bought four 15-packs so far this year.

Time for me to buy another 15-pack I think. And at 20 bucks for the 15-pack it is a good deal!

    Cheers!
