Question that has probably been answered: pickup windows firm or more of a suggestion?

there are way earlier slots available now compared to when I checked out - a weekday lunch run would be way easier for me than anything on the weekend.

    15 mins notice enough?

Set a time and go nearest to it you can. They're trying to deter a flood of cars but aren't going to turn you away if you're a couple hours early or a couple hours late. I had to come 5 hrs early from my selected pickup time for Thundertaker and they had no issue with it. It's simply to break up the line best they can. Most people adhere to their time best they can knowing that so the system works.

Are you still on your haunches? Since this release was so easy, this is the most interesting info we want to know.

I'm glad I ordered glasses yesterday. Broke my Deep Woods snifter back in January.

There's still some Maple Deth available but when I went to select curb-site pick up window, it was 'greyed out' and couldn't select anything. However, when I went through to complete purchase, it defaulted to a Fri, 1-2PM window. Is this because that's the only time left available? (I ended up not making a purchase because it didn't work with my schedule, so there's still some left!)

A day later and Maple Deth (no distro - brewery only) is not sold out - that is so great! @BeerCruncher mentioned on twitter just after 5pm yesterday that there was ~20% of the stock left at that time.
I just tried to purchase some Maple and there are many pickup windows still available - just select your window before going to complete the purchase. I was able to scroll down and select many times during the weekend. If it is not working for you then maybe try restarting your browser or try a different browser?

Definitely worked that time, and I grabbed a 4-pack. Appreciate the input.

I see the single barrel Deth's Tar varietals are "on deck" at the Brewpub...I'm assuming they will be gone after the preview events, but I'm dreaming of getting crowlers of one/both!

    #560 looks delightful
Three full years in a single Woodford Double Oak bourbon barrel has transformed this Imperial Oatmeal Stout into an oaky, fudge-breathing menace. As alcohol and water slowly evaporated its malt structure both matured and concentrated, yielding a glass-coating treat rife with notes of chocolate, brown sugar, and caramel. Nice.

I'm sure I'm going to regret only getting one maple deth pack, but it's just so much cash.

I'm definitely going for multiple VSOD if it's not limit 1 though.

Can you share the info on #4250? I tried to find it on the interwebs, but came up empty.

    From the untappd listing anyway:
After a quick eight months of resting, this single Buffalo Trace Mash #2 barrel may not be the oldest Deth's Tar we've ever tasted, but that's not why we love it. Notes of vanilla, bakers chocolate, and cherry positively leap from the glass as it warms, providing a subtly lean-balanced oak and spirit-forward sip.

In the future you have to click on the 'View Tap List' button towards the top. https://revbrew.com/visit/brewpub#tap-list That takes you to Untappd which has descriptions. Wish they were on the main page but that's how you find out the descriptions for the one offs. Cheers.

I love that you all are excited about variants that are about barrel expression, versus wishing we had one with triple the maple syrup. And thanks for sticking with us as we got our website humming again.

    Might be our discerning taste!

Or might just be the timing, since Mikerphone and Maplewood just showed us what triple (or more) maple syrup does for a BA offering. Spoiler alert, it was very polarizing.

Maple is like cinnamon for me...a little goes a LONG way, and too much ruins a beer completely.

If there's anyone I trust with a maple stout, it's Rev, as they preach balance above all else.

I'm as big a fan as anyone of adding sugary bullshit to stouts, but the thing you guys have proven again and again is that putting the time into learning how to work with different barrels, ages, etc. pays off just as much as dropping toasted coconut into a barrel for a year.

Does anyone (maybe @BeerCruncher) know why the maple deth is 2% abv lower than the deths tar and cafe deth? Maybe it's the maple addition, but the regular and cafe deth are the same abv.

I think you explained that with the first part. Same reason Bramble was lower ABV for BCBS. Now why isn’t Cafe less? That I don’t know
