Agreed. Went by there last weekend hoping to grab some stuff and the beer garden was closed. Nothing I could find online about it.

Meh. Hop burn as eff. I'd rate this a 1.75/2 on Untappd.

perhaps this has changed, but the Monterey location has always been closed to on-site consumption during covid. But you can still order online and pick up beers there. There is staff inside the shipping container thing that fill orders and they hand off to you at the rear in the parking lot.

@Dansac ... I think there were also some last minute "Outdoor Dine-In" closures due to AIR QUALITY in NorCal last week due to the Wild Fires..

They did update the Sacramento and Berkeley social media with Air Quality "Dine in" Closure info last week. Possibly the Monterey social media guy was slow?

Looking for tips, what are some of the better hoppy beers they’ve canned recently? Looking to pick up in Berkeley. IPAs aren’t my jam but I’m looking to get some for a friend.

They just got a new batch of Tahitian Blue in - all Mosaic double, one of the better recent hazies around.

Having a can now; I'd say this is a great batch of it. Got that full feel you're looking for, no burn, just lots of Citra/citrus goodness without tons of sweetness. Fieldwork's still on a roll.

Agreed, had a full pour when picking up a 4-pack yesterday, really great batch. On the other hand, I thought Kush Pop was something of a fail, vegetal and unintegrated. Looking to compare with recent Moonraker, picked up some Atomic Betty yesterday.

You guys weren't kidding. Shipment arrived today and enjoying a King Citra now. At this strength, I was so glad that is not syrupy sweet. Just citrus goodness with great mouthfeel. One of the better looking beers I've noticed in awhile as well.

    Super delicious.

I know it's not the stuff that gets everyone's nipples hard around here but their Czech dark lager, Owl Theory, is really good. Great for this shoulder season between summer and winter. Super full body without being filling

New DDH hazy Citramancer, choked full of Citra hops and cryo - can there really be too much of a good thing? Not exactly burn, but there is just some kind of over-pungentness keeping this a step from where I was hoping it'd be. Better than the most recent DDH Pulp batch but nowhere near the Mo Pulp.

Didn't pick Citramancer up; after finishing up King Citra, I was looking for a hop change, and thus picked up Sound Parade which I am enjoying quite a bit; taste the Strata hop profile (stonefruits)

St Thomas OG cans available again. Really love that they put this out, no need to haze it up for my palate and preferences. (Modern WCIPA at its finest @unlikelyspiderperson )

Just had one too, and this batch is great! Really has that mosaic blueberry taste going on, on the back end!

Powerbatch 5000 - another great batch here. High abv but it's very smooth. I'm generally partial to DIPAs, but man this one's damn near perfect to me. Recommended for sure. I should also say that I really enjoyed my packs of Banter Lord and Invincible Worlds as well, both are more than solid. Haven't cracked the Zomby Wolf just yet.
