    Have a good Monday. My mom came in last night from Tennessee, going to be staying for a week. She feels the need to keep the divorce a big fucking secret, which did not bode over well last night, but we came to a truce of sorts later on. Whatever. Need to get some game time in today. I played Phasmophobia VR on steam last night with one of my old college buddies. I got killed by a poltergeist in the second game. Still been putting off The Outer Worlds, so probably next up.

    Awesome as always. I prefer the Thirsty Dog one every year. Glad to see some dating scheme going on now. Seems to be 6 months out from packaging.

    Even without beer and only coffee I love fall in general. The change in weather sand nature is so nice.

    Good day BAs! Off to a cool (temperature) start to the day, cloudy and damp after yesterday evening's rain which finished off my leaf burning. Today's New Breakfast Beer comes from @nc41 and BIF12:

    Note the missing letters on the can - they came off when I was wiping off the sweat prior to photographing - never had that happen before.

    A nicely bitter and resinous IPA - 4.02.

    1st coffee break on this day off.
    Mikkeller - Black IPA brewed with coffee.
    (only three years out of code!!!)

    Coffee is barely noticeable.
    Hops are gone.
    The 9.2% alcohol is, of course, still there.

    It is my wife’s fifty-sixth birthday so we are starting early by sharing a Stonecutter Scotch Ale from Renaissance Brewing Company in New Zealand. Very nice.

    as an aside, we are also sharing a 1997 bottle of ice wine from Colio Estate Vineyards in Harrow, Ontario. It has help up remarkably well. Cheers.
