    Dramatically cooler today with a cold wind. This will warm me up.
    Tomorrow we're predicted to have a high temp in the 30s with some form of frozen precipitation.
    I'll probably be needing a stout for that.

    A cold -5° this morning in NE Wyoming. The woodstove is roaring away keeping it toasty. A beer from New Belgium is helping too.

    I'm surprised that I haven’t bought this before. ESB is probably the style I'd say I like the most, but drink the least. Really hard to find fresh imports and I can no longer buy Maris Otter LME for homebrew.

    Sipping on a post-lunch Storrowed DIPA from Trillium. Still have 2 more cans left from the 8 cans delivered to me a couple months back. Glad they allow you to mix your own case by the 4pk for delivery now that they have more options available again. My fridge is pretty full at the moment. Cheers everyone!

    it's been all weekend and the Donald Byrd tunes @champ103 posted are still stuck in my head after listening to about 15 seconds of them to remember what tunes they were. Such catchy rhythms that hook me like a fish and leave me whistling the tracks. Tunes like these always stick in my head, and sometimes I doubt why I didn't try to become a professional whistler. I wish they gave us trumpets in elementary school instead of recorders to play in music class, I might've enjoyed it more lol.



    and Happy Name Day to @rex_4539! I had a Greek coworker named Fotis who told me about those celebrations. He's actually from Astoria Queens NY (biggest Greek population in the US I think) and was talking about moving back to Greece on his family's island. Seems like a beautiful and great place.     ...woke up to single digit outdoor temps...started the wood fire and shoveled the driveway, sidewalk and pathways...finishing up some home baked buffalo wings for lunch...listening to music with Mrs. BeerGoot earlier...taking Rocket the Wonder Dog into a new dog mechanic later this afternoon (has a nasty cough - probably a type of kennel cough - hopefully treatable)...

    ...some of the bands we've been listening to...
