    Just completed my mail-in ballot (I'll drop it off at a secure drop box) and have never felt so appalled at the lack of quality candidates (with any chance of winning) at the national level. It's worse than the last national election where (for the first time in my life) I didn't vote for any presidential candidate. But that's as far as I'll go with any further political opinions.

    I need a strong beer and a healthy shot...

    @TheGent this has become a really reliable moderate strength stick for me, easily pairing with lighter beers. This one in particular was a little harder packed than desired, and yet it still burned really easily and consistently until the last 1/4 or so. I tend to go with darker cigars, but they don't always pair as well with beer unless you've got a nice strong stout or barleywine - which isn't quite as nice on a warm afternoon. :slight_smile:

    Drinking an old Prairie & Evil Twin collab Barrel Aged Bible Belt. Something like a cross of Even More Jesus and Bomb! aged in whiskey barrels, picking up an almost mapley note now. Chili pepper spice comes through, rich chocolate and coffee, vanilla, smooth whiskey oak barrel notes, marshmallow, mapley brown sugar with some earthy hops balancing, a hint of meaty smoke and char, some dark fruits, really nice barrel aged imperial spiced stout. Cheers everyone!

    The Edradour was still a small place when I was there.You can bet it still is. I highly recommend a visit to Speyside and all of Scotland too.
