    Fantastic. Thanks!
I didn't think it was going to be Friday only but just wanted to confirm. I have a trip planned and needed to figure out if I need to come back early or not.

An interview with Guy Fawkes, conducted by Guy Fawkes.

Q: Guy, did you solo dome a crowler of Deth's Tar Single Barrel 560 on a Tuesday?
A: Yes, I did. Thank you for asking.

Q: Do you think this is something an adult should be doing?
A: (chuckling) Oh no. This is the sign of a big problem. No, not something anyone should be doing, at any age, really. (chuckles again, distantly)

    Q: How's the beer?
A: ABSOLUTE FUDGE BOMB with nice barrel, mild bourbon and some muted cream/vanilla accents that really elevate this. An absolute dream of a beer.

Tune-in in December for the companion audio with Ryeway (if/when they do single barrel crowlers) for ktr5010's interview of ktr5010 with guest appearances by ktr5010's wife asking poignant questions about how much alcohol is in that oil drum your drinking.

Yeah, even as fast as they are filling orders and with people proxying for others there's no way they could do that sort of volume in one day. The explanation I was given last year for why all releases weren't two days was the extra staffing they needed to handle the combo of can sales and taproom traffic.

Does anyone have an idea of how long Rev will hold a curbside order for?

Driving in from Michigan to grab Prop allotment on 11/8 (FMB, I know) and would like to place a Deth order if possible. Couldn't find anything on the website with respect to pick up timing.

I don’t know the answer to your first question, but I doubt regular Deth’s Tar or cafe will be sold out by then. Could order the night before, or a local Binny’s will probably have some still

They're pretty responsive on FB if you want to try that route to ask them.

Thank you for the responses - trying to see if I can place an order before Maple Deth runs out. Sent them a message on FB.

Is the taproom open currently? I know the brewpub is temporarily closed due to covid.

no, and I don't think either location will be opening back up any time soon with the new mitigation restrictions.

Got it. Saw a bunch of checkins to the taproom so I wasn't sure if I could get in a quick trip before Friday.

This is hilarious! One of the funniest things I’ve read on beer advocate in a long time.

I’d like to weigh in on Maple deth as well. I feel like this is a you either love it or hate it kind of beer based on what people are saying in this thread. Not hearing much middle ground on this one. I think the balance between the stout, the maple syrup, & the maple syrup barrels is on spot point. I think it’s a great effort from Revolution. I think it’s maple syrup barrel notes are quite unique in this beer too; you really taste the maple syrup barrels. Tasting a honey & vanilla with an earthy rich maple flavor & smooth barrel notes. Texture is silky and creamy, I don’t find it thin at all.

I don’t hate it but it did make me think that my tastebuds may be missing the coffee element that is usually in the BA breakfast stout beers.

I'd push back on this a bit. It's a "love it or really like it" beer. No one here is saying they hate it; some think it's great, and some think it's really good.

For what it's worth (yes I still type this out, I'm 40), I had another tonight and I'm drifting from the "really like it" to the "love it" camp.

The more time I give it to warm up, the more I find to love. At room temperature the maple really expresses itself in a balanced but assertive way. My initial can was so agreeable that I drank it too quickly to let it develop from "chilled" to "warm".
