OK. What am I doing wrong?
My wife comes home and says the beer store had a display of beers from a new local brewery, Brookeville, in Olney, Md.
I log in here, tap on the magnifying glass, enter Interdependence IPA, hit Return and get: No results found.
I open a fresh web page and google search, type in Interdepence IPA, and the first hit is thebeeradvocate.com's rating.
WTF! It's quicker to just Google it than it is to find in on site itself!? Well, that's screwed up.

Some suggestions of searching on mobile:
Do your search from the BA homepage or the Beers homepage
Leave off the style (Interdependence IPA)
If the beer name has two words, just search for one
Often it's easier to search for the brewery, tap that link, then scroll down their offerings

I went to the Beers tab, clicked on the search icon, typed in brookville interdependence and the correct beer came up.

@officerbill recommended using only one word if the beer has two words in its name but I don't think he was saying to skip the brewery's name. I think that's a key to a successful search.

Search has improved, but there was a while there where it returned hits on each word in the search.

Primarily the ”just search for brewery” was aimed at European beers, where the “name” of the beer is usually just the style, and for breweries with short names (quicker to search for Bell's & tap on link than to search for Two Hearted).

Now if we could just get search to accept fuzzy spelling

I majored in fuzzy spelling. I butcher words so bad that auto correct can't even find them.

I would recommend going to askjeeves.com and asking it to “google [insert beer name here] on Beer Advocate”.

    That should do the trick.

You can’t get to AskJeeves through an AOL account. Obviously you have to use AltaVista to bring up the site.
