Apparently blatant resellers are getting their transactions cancelled, bravo to so for helping get their beers into the hands of fans over resellers! Wonder if these packs will go on sale at some point

 

I’m happy to hear this, and I hope it continues to take place. Intent is everything here, whether you’re getting a beer to drink (or to trade for something else to drink) versus outright sell (or trading in order to sell what you traded for)

As for the counter point, ‘it’s my beer and it’s none of your business/doesn’t matter what I choose to do with it’... clearly it is Side Project’s business indeed what you’re doing with the beer(s), and intent appears to matter very much especially if reselling.

I hope they go a step further like Hill Farmstead has done in a past and just ‘black list’ people re-selling or trying to ‘cheat’ release system. The deterrent and threat of banning would help mitigate some larger issues, at least a bit.

 

I really need Side Project to drop something new to get the taste of the Apple Pay issue from BBT out of my mouth...

Last time that happened I emailed asking about that and they said cancelled bottle orders were going back to cellar for future sales or onsite.

 

i doubt there’s enough to justify another to-go sale

 

Does Side Project ever have BBT on draft (pre-COVID, obviously)? I know they have on-site bottles, but some day I just want to have a glass of this beer without having to spend half a day (either in time or wages).

 

They have on several occasions.

 

the cellar anniversary last November i had BBT 1-3 on draft, had 3 on draft at the invitational in February and had 2 on draft at the Beers & Bites event last year during StLCBW (that event rules btw)

 

BBT b1 and b2 were on draft at SARA at certain times (SP day / zwanze) over the last couple of years. Good times. I MISS IT

 

I had b1 on draft at DLD 2018 for what it’s worth as well.

 

think they also had 1-3 on draft one night during Stout Week earlier this year

 

I need Candles in my life right about now...

 

Problem is when they do have it on draft you still have to spend half the day lining up or hanging out at the cellar or whatever because it is always packed

Every one keeps saying this was an apple pay issue but it happened to credit cards too. I had my card saved to my browser and it gave me the same error. I rechecked my card and just kept clicking purchase and eventually it went through. Their system was just overloaded. It happened to two my friends also.
