Today, Thursday, we've got a brand new barrel-aged version of our Coco Crazee along with the two newest beers out of DC and five fresh BK classics. Available in the taproom via Curbside Pickup starting at noon. Link to order in bio. ⠀
    ⠀
Bourbon Barrel Aged Coco Crazee Imperial Stout (14.0%) with Raw Coconut, Coconut Milk and Toasted Coconut. Our favorite raw expression of all things coconut, now with bourbon barrel character! $22 per bottle. ⠀
    ⠀
Double Dream Cut Imperial Oat Cream IPA (8%) Strata is the star of our Cut series. We use our hand selected Strata hops and in this case blend them with our hand selected Citra hops. And like all dream/daydream beers this is dosed heavily with oats and a hint of milk sugar. $18 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
HDHC All Green Everything Imperial IPA (10.5%) The classic gets the High Density Hop Charge treatment. More hops than you can handle. Flush with Citra, Mosaic, Motueka and Amarillo. $24 per 4 pack.⠀
    ⠀
Daydreams Only Imperial Oat Cream India Pale Ale (8%) with Citra, Cashmere and Riwaka. $18 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
DDH Green Down to the Socks Imperial IPA (8.2%) DIPA hopped with Mosaic, Motueka, Cascade and African Queen from South Africa. $20 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
DDH Cheddar Imperial IPA (7.9%) Just your usual dairy-free cheese-less beer with a blend of Citra, Ekuanot, Kohatu and Wai-iti on a base of 2-row, oats and wheat. $20 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
DDH Small Nelson Everything IPA (6.5%) Brewed with our hand selected Nelson Sauvin from our friends @freestylehops $18 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
DDH Southernhopalistic IPA (7.4%) is all southern hemisphere hop goodness. Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Wai-iti. $18 per 4 pack.

I get mixed up with all the stouts - especially the 'nut ones - but I'm pretty sure the original Coco Crazee was my least favorite stout they've ever put out (admittedly I've not had a huge % of their entire stout line up)

I did enjoy the base of that stout, I do like coconut in stouts. I am of the mindset of not getting the BA ones, even beer's I liked, as most of them haven't translated well to BA. Maybe now that they are in DC they can learn some stuff from Aslin who seems to have their barrel project stuff more dialed in (at least what I have been able to try).

    Today in NYC:

People Power Imperial IPA (8.0%) Inspired by our homies @ThreesBrewing here comes our take on People Power, an Imperial IPA with big doses of Strata and Sabro. Power to the people and get out to exercise your right to vote. We've decided to donate to a local cause for our People Power release and will be sending a contribution from sales of this beer to the @audrelordeproject, an organization dedicated to working for community wellness and progressive social and economic justice for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non-Conforming People of Color in the New York City area. $20 per 4 pack.

City That Never Sleeps Imperial IPA (8.4%) It felt like the right time to drop this imperial version of our classic Green City IPA. Chock full of our hand selected Citra, Simcoe and Centennial. $20 per 4 pack.

    And in DC:

We've got some exciting collabs to brighten up your weekend! We teamed up with @jwakefieldbrewing to make a fresh take on one of their favorite beers, Troll So Hard. And we've got a special beer to commemorate one of our favorite DC events, Oyster Wars. Read below for more details about how you can support this great cause!⠀
    ⠀
Order now for Curbside Pickup starting today, Friday, at noon. Orders placed now can be picked up at any point this weekend, Friday 12-8, Saturday 10-8, or Sunday 11-6. Link to order in bio. ⠀
    ⠀
Daydream So Hard Florida Weisse (6.0%) with Lemon, Lime, and milk sugar with our South Florida family @jwakefieldbrewing Team Wakefield let us take a crack at Troll So Hard but with a decidedly Other Half twist. Yeah, we dosed it with oats and milk sugar giving it more of that soft mouthfeel and lemon-lime custard taste. $20 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
Seafood Platter IPA (6.0%) Brewed in collaboration with @thesaltline in homage to our favorite seafood event of the year--Oyster Wars. Each year we bring together the best chefs, brewers and oyster farmers to help raise money to protect clean water and sustainable seafood. We brewed this IPA to help support the cause this year with Motueka, Galaxy, and Idaho 7. $18 per 4 pack. ⠀

Considering all the love for Citra+Strata here I'm surprised there's not more hand wringing about that Double Dream Cut (despite the presence of 'tose). Personally I'm torn between that and the City That Never Sleeps as Green City is def a fave of mine.

Citra + Strata is positioned extremely well for "Batch 1 was better."

batch one level will never be attained. for multiple reasons.

for several months now, I literally wake up every morning and in no particular order the thoughts that come into my head:

    urgh it’s a fucking pandemic
    urgh the fucking election
urgh why didn’t I max out on citra strata

No FOMO of DDC necessary, it's fine and has a light melon finish, along with the usual "dream" body and touch of sweetness. No regrets but nothing special.

Anyone try the City That Never Sleeps?

TRICK OR TREAT! It's that time of year again, and we're back with your adults only treat -- BA Deep Orbit Vega, with Oreos. Because we were all kids once. Pick some up now to start your Halloweekend. We've also got some IPAs fresh from FLX if that's more your speed. Link to order via Curbside Pickup in bio.

BA Deep Orbit Vega Imperial Stout (15.5%) Deep Orbit is back and this time we crushed it with Oreo cookies AND barrel aged it. So yeah, it tastes like Oreos dunked in imperial stout. $18 per bottle.

Green Pastures IPA (7.0%) It's a little more bucolic around FLX than in NYC but this version of our Green City IPA is hit with a raucous amount of Simcoe, Amarillo and Hallertau Blanc. $16 per 4 pack.

Deer Gauntlet Imperial IPA (8.4%) Hopped with Mosaic and Galaxy and then dry hopped with Galaxy, Riwaka and Bru-1. $20 Per 4 pack.

DDH Strata Chroma IPA (6.3%) Strata is becoming one of our obsessions. This delicious hop is the focus of our latest DDH Chroma. $18 per 4 pack.

DDH Double Mosaic Chroma Imperial IPA (8.2%) Our hand selected Mosaic shines in this imperial IPA designed to push our delicious hops to the forefront. $20 per 4 pack.

Sober October just about over...but, now I have like 50 different beers to choose from? Damn!

Is there actually different beers available "curbside pick up" instead of "tap room to go?". I see the EQ collabs listed as available, but, not available for pre-purchase. Or are they just not updating one of the lists?

I've noticed more cans are available if you walk up vs. order ahead, figure the inventory per square isn't 1:1 with what's actually on hand

They had a series of Chicago events last year, all around the same time. I'm not aware of any since then.
