The whole point of the collaborative effort was to use the same base recipe, so Weathered Souls is the answer to your question.

About ready to watch Mandalorian and just cracked it. Yeah, this is a Shaun stout. Thiicc af. Vanilla isn’t overpowering but you taste it. Nice chocolate. His recipe.

LMAO, my mom who isn't a beer drinker, read an article about Dovetail's Kriek release a few years back in the Chicago Tribune and asked me to grab a bottle. Needless to say she didn't like it and her frame of reference was one of those New Glarus framboise which it was nothing like.'

What was the political argument for not purchasing it? Seems more like a racial issue.

Nice. I am definitely reconsidering my position on this. Enjoy!

I also see the Booery mixed 7 pack is available for brewery pick up now.

This is exactly true- Side Project/Shared’s version is a BA blend with Mexican vanilla beans for example.

Btw on an unrelated note they are now selling those trick or treat 7 packs at the brewery for those that got shut out on the zip code deliveries.

Got better as it warmed. Not too roasty and balanced. Like all of his stouts.
You guys can keep talking yourselfs out of purchasing this. I just ordered another 2pk.

    Boba “MF” Fett!

Just got Boo’d. Texted me 4 minutes ahead of arrival, showed up 4 minutes later. Van is decked out and blasting spooky jams. Checked my ID and handed me trick-or-treat bag. Easy, spooky, hilarious. Love it. Thanks P3!

    Happy Halloween!

This thing is exactly like Pressed - Vanilla Minus the coffee. I got the roast flavor but I agree it wasn’t overpowering. Decadently thick. The last few sips settled though so that part is always a little extra syrupy. Really liked it but prefer pressed. Will probably buy another for “political” reasons lol

Sounds like someone is going as an anti-masker for Halloween which begs the question, will they wear Halloween masks?

They did 12 bottles of Eunoia b2 for on-site consumption today. $45/ea and you needed 2 people.

That was a nice "treat" for those that stopped by early today.

Had the same exact experience getting a text and them showing up a few minutes later.. The delivery guys were super friendly and chatting up some of the neighbors that were out. Already had the double nectar, which was really good for that style. Fantastic experience!

Next time, be like “dude, people having equal rights isn’t political”. Thanks.

I agree on the surprise of this beer lasting somewhat long for purchase. I get that it makes it tough for people in the city to drive out for it though.

Wondering if it’s worth the 50 min drive (each way) to get their version of BiB and a couple of IPAs.

So now I have a direct comparison. BiB is Curvature thick with as much vanilla as you can handle. Not technically a pastry as the roast balances it out and keeps it drinkable, this is his most nuanced stout yet and cannot wait to see the barreled version.

Those who pass because they do not support racial equality- you played yourself twice by just making it more available to pick up a 6 pack at my leisure.

    Win win.
