Clearing out the fridge a bit more. Great juicy strawberry with a crisp apple like tartness. Great!

Any time I run across a beer featuring Nelson that I think might be somewhat decent, I give it a shot. Everyone knows how much the Hunter loves Nelson. I love you, too. Cheers!

Yes, a very charismatic actor and person. A true movie star. If you haven’t seen it, go back to 1981 and watch Outland, a Sci-Fi film that uses his best attributes.

That is the best one. The peanut banana one from last time was damn near a drain pour. I was already drunk so I could tolerate finishing it. Brewing Projekt is putting out some killers beers and I'm glad they are experiment. I have a Zoose Joose from them in the fridge I still haven't tried. It is like a 7% fruited gose

Served cold, so taste and feel are somewhat limited, but both seem a bit more robust this go around. The flavor seems to have a stronger chocolate and cocoa presence, the mouthfeel denser, richer.

    ‐------------

Deep mahogany brown and red body; thick, soapy head. Soft aroma of milk chocolate and cocoa. Decent sweet chocolate flavor; a smidge of vanilla; light bitterness and grain char. Medium body; smooth and silky on the palate.

This sample was taken from a crowler filled several weeks ago. There was no ABV written on it. The beer itself tastes fine but seems a little weak and watery with the taste and mouthfeel.

So, yesterday I was carping about the Pats, but only because I’ve been a fan for forty f-ing years. At 2-5, they have now lost as many games in less than half a season as they did in any full season since 2009. In fact, in the decade since that 2009 season, the Pats averaged 12.5 wins per year with Brady at QB. I believe Bill let his ego get in the way of the Brady decision, and if the Bucs win the Super Bowl, it will be the greatest “in your face” moment in the history of sports.

Drinking Collective Arts Pomegranate & Grapefruit sour and hoping the Bucs stomp the shit out of the Giants tonight, just to further prove the point that Bill only appeared to be a genius because of who was taking the snaps. He certainly was no Mensa level coach during his five years in Cleveland or during his his first 5-11 season in NE with Bledsoe at QB. Coincidentally (not), his alleged genius only started expressing itself when number 12 got behind center. Ok, got that off my chest. Cheers.

This was my first time trying a smoked beer:

Mother of God. This 7% smoked brown ale has a hearty amount of smoked malt to lend nuances of applewood smoked bacon to this robust brown ale. Aged on coffee and finished with maple syrup this is what kicking' your feet up and taking in the brisk fall air before a long day of catching speeders. Meow!

A couple mouthfuls in a like this one. It's spices, maple, cinnamon, an wood smoke. The smoke adds almost a porky character.

Sorry again about the shitty pictures, I just honestly don't care much about photography.

One of the most interesting beers I have had in a long time. 4.29/5

    16 oz. can.
    Canned 10/22/20.
Collaboration with Ten Bends Beer, Hyde Park, VT.
Moderate pour yields a nearly one inch off-white head over a very murky body with a bit of sticky lacing. Nose of dank tropical fruit, dank citrus, and slight mint. Taste mirrors nose pretty well with dankness through to a dank minty finish. Very unique and as smooth (Ha!) as a 10% triple IPA can be! Nice feel and overall, this is a real palate workout, folks.
Cheers to these Dead Heads for its name as well as the beer!

Drinking a Central Artery helles lager from Trillium now. Floral, biscuity, light honey, citrus zest, some fruity esters like pear, grape and sweet apple, bready crackery malts, and earthy herbal noble spice hops. Not too shabby this one. Cheers all! :beers:

Going to a group showing of a house apartment tonight around 5:30 that I might move into if it's nice and I can seal the deal before anyone else does. I'll have to check it out first, but it's in my hometown and a good area right off Broadway with a lot of businesses around it, personal bathroom and kitchen, no roommates, a little more money but worth it I think in the long run. As of right now I'm willing to take it as long as something doesn't tell me to do otherwise. Meeting with the realtor in a few hours, and my mom is going to check out the place as well after I told her about it.

Can't wait for tomorrow night here, no matter who wins, half the country will be happy the other half is going to be pissed. Kind of the cherry on the top of the covid sundae. They just announced a curfew of sorts in Massachusetts. The Governor stated that gathering in private home shoulder exceed 10 people. I'm all for getting rid of this freaking virus but I have a problem with government telling me what I can do in my own home if I'm not breaking laws.
Thanks for listening to my rant of the week. Cheers, and cheers to Sean Connery.

I grew up with Brady and the Pats. The first few games I remember watching as a kid was that first season Brady came in as QB and they won the playoffs against the Raiders and then the Super Bowl against Kurt Warner and the Rams. I was a bit letdown to see him go, but this year is chaos anyway and it's hard for me to even take any sports seriously this year with the whole pandemic scenario and players being taken out, short seasons etc. I kinda just don't even care about sports anymore. After the Celtics got rid of Pierce, and the Red Sox lost Manny and Ortiz and all the others, I don't even follow the sports teams anymore really, but I'm always happy to see them win. Cheers!
