I’m kinda split. I like your idea but on the other hand I think 90% of people would pick it up the same day as the release, resulting in a massive shit show line. If they divvy up the allotments it kinda keeps people who already scored at bay from the other days, resulting in less crowds/lines. That’s my opinion at least...

 

If super quick is even 2 minutes I can figure it out, with saved info allowing me to get the coffee and BA...I can click thru that fast. 30 seconds? That's crazy unless I only get one or the other.

 

Ferm orders start at 11, St. Oner's at 12. You can try both, no? I would bet Monday's will be significantly chiller than the other days'.

BA only void sold out under ~30 seconds again for Ardmore (not that I was trying; just observing).

Got some BA and coffee at oner's. But the ba had to retry because of high demand. Never seen that....

 

To anyone trying, the only voids were NOT grayed out a couple minutes to noon. So I opened the BA PB page. Refreshed that right at noon bought the four pack and already had all my non CC info saved (though that's in my Google chrome so it was quick too, but if I wasn't concerned with hacking could've had a saved CC and really saved time, but I prefer the protection of Google that toast probably doesn't have). Got the coffee in a separate order. The cost of the two combined means I'm set. Given founders race issues I wasn't planning to buy the fudge and espresso despite the reviews, so I feel better about my money going to TH personally. All bets are off though if the BCBS bourbon forward versions are in NJ.

 

Yeah I grabbed a BA variant too. Apple Pay worked wonders, one click and it auto entered everything; I was order #19. Got a pack of Helles Other People as well.

 

It's like trying to score a PS5 just to play next gen games. Even though they are the same on PS4.. you go up against more scalpers then customers.

 

i hear ya. I’m having this same problem with getting a fancy new graphics card (Nvidia RTX 3080). The thing has been out since September and the bots buy them all up before you can even get to the page. People wait in line at the Micro Center in Wayne PA for hours before opening and 80% of the time there isn’t stock anyway so they just go home with nothing and repeat the process a over again. It’s insanity.

I’ll probably hold off on the PS5 until more games come out for it (I still have a shit ton of PS4 games to play through)

 

To piggy-back on your customer appreciation comment, I live in KoP and am within the 7 mi courier service radius. One of my 4 packs delivered was incorrect and of lesser value (received a DDH hop hands instead of a milkshake variant). Anyways, I emailed the thbc team and said that i would personally bring it back to the ferm to exchange (They insisted on delivering but i declined). When i arrived at the Ferm to get my milkshake 4pack and to return the incorrect 4 pack, they said that the incorrect one was on them. Free four pack.

In my opinion, they have very good customer service and their releases are always smooth sailing for the customer. I have yet to experience anything negative with Tired Hands service.

 

You can't return any product because of Covid. It would have been suspect for them to accept the returned 4 pack.

Anyone hear any rumors about Gatherer 2020? I assume it’s not happening since 2019 is released but hopefully I’m wrong

I did. It’s a chocolatey fluffernutter sandwich. The bourbon barrel notes are quite smooth thankfully (I’m not a big whiskey guy at all). It adds a bit of oaky vanilla character. It’s sweet, yeah but not nearly as bad as 99% of pastry stouts these days

 

I tried all three days for the BA and got shut out 30 seconds in. Would really love to get my hands on just 1 can if anyone can help out a homie in need.
