For any of you in San Diego there is a place in la Mesa called knb wine cellars. It is a little pricey but they have knuckle sandwich for 8.99 and 75 minute IPA for 15.99

I wish KS tasted like it used to 2+ years ago.

Yeah it's still a great beer but lost some quality.. Most Beers from bootleggers have really suffered in the quality department

I think this most recent batch of KS is the best yet. Yes, I tasted it 2+ years ago and every batch since!

15.99 is a rip-off on 75 minute IPA. It should retail at 9.99.

All DFH is a ripoff. Overrated, overpriced beer. Probably the worst offender.

Could not pay me the $ 8.99 to drink KS. Undrinkable sweet sticky malty hang over in a bottle, just dont get the hype on that one, but my preference has totally changed to more balanced IPA/DIPA over the last year. I would say the same thing about Simtra as well, cant drink them anymore.

    Cheers.....

Agreed about the 75 minute, 15.99 is absolutely a rip off. Nearly double what I've seen it for most places. Though it is a very tasty, interesting beer.

KS is a great beer, but this batch really lacks in the aroma department. It is the first big batch at the new brewery, so it is understandable that they are working some things out...

Strange. The batch I had 2 batches ago absolutely sucked and was a shell of the beer!

Whatever, the same place that have 75min here for 14.99 is selling Abyss for 12.99 and a daily limit of 2, so I'm fine with it. Then again, I'm an RS member, so I'm used to high price bottles lol.

Not only that but the clown that makes the beer offends me.

Yeah they made a shit ton for the most recent batch, which is nice being able to easily grab multiple bottles, but it definitely lacked a bit. I'll be glad when they get the new system running well. And also when they open the new tasting room.

Is Bootleggers new brewery/tasting room open yet? Haven't been there in 4 months.

They are brewing at the new facility but still serving and selling beers at the old location. It's a bit strange as all the tanks are gone but the taps are still there. Not sure when the new tasting room will be open.

Right now I'm drinking some Knuckle that I unexpectedly found at BevMo for $7.59/bomber. I love Knuckle- not in my Top 5, but probably in my Top 10. It reminds me of Expo, as far as being kinda sweet/malty (though WAY less so than DFH products). Knuckle and Expo both hide their crazy ABV pretty damn well, but I might put Expo slightly ahead due to more "complexity" of flavor.

Not Bud, the use of broken rice is just blowing my mind, cost cutting never tasted so good.

I never liked KS, it's an East Coast DIPA living in disguise amongst us hoping it doesn't get found out for what it is. Y'all can have as much as you want, pass for me.
