Half Acre (2020)

I got one, but my friend who got charged twice and had processing error got nothing.

 

Miracle of miracles - it went through! Only took 11 charges

 

My bank said that I have to go through half acre to get all the pending charges refunded. God damn this is a mess. I dont even want to try again to process.

 

I bought a Benthic T in XXXXL to take the family camping in next summer.

Just looked at CC, one confirmation email but $1300 in pending charges

 

It is a great beer and I would love to have it, but I just can't justify that price. After taxes/fees, that is borderline insanity. Especially when Pressed is less than half the cost. Maybe it will be on draft in March when bars open back up...lol.

Yeah I also decided to skip this one. Last year I thought Vanilla Benthic was awesome, but regular wasn't my favorite. The others were good and very sweet, but just something I would be fine having a 4oz taster of, I don't need multiple cans.

 

Zero confirmation emails. Two emails to HA about it. A post on Twitter. No responses. At least $1000 in charges to two different cards... and I still can't get an order to go through. Lol. HA may have just lost me completely.

I literally had a credit card with no balance... get declined multiple times, but I've been charged 4 times on it... to the extent I have gotten fraud alert texts. No confirmation email of a package. That card is now basically maxed out and declined each time. Unreal how poorly this was done.

 

The only way this is going to get more ridiculous is if they have one guy handing out all the Benthic and he doesn't report until after the last pick-up that he has had Covid the whole time...

 

I can't remember if they actually said this on any posts / elsewhere but you can only pickup in the time you selected on Tock based on the news article here. Given how much of a mess everything was I wonder if they'll revise this, plenty of people I know just grabbed any available time.

Same here. Tock trying to blame us. Their system fucked up, plain and simple.

 

I just got one to go through on my debit card... where I didn't want it. I wanted it on a credit card... which is why I tried to use that first. Fucking HA.
