What type of value does four roses small batch limited edition go for?

    What kind of stouts 1:1?

My mistake, thanks for the heads up. I must have totally forgotten that Aqua is brandy.

I've seen it close several times (pretty quickly) 1:1 with the latest BBT (2020). Keep in mind all of those quick closes have been when the SMBLE has been offered as the FT. I think I've seen it tougher to close the other way around when the BBT is being offered FT.

No worries and like I said not trying to call you out. Having had both, IMO the aqua BM is a different kind of animal with lighter bourbon notes and thinner body. All BM’s pale in comparison to the likes of Holy Mountains, Fremonts, and Central Waters barrel programs. Holy cannoli those folks know how to barrel age beer and having some readily available in quantity/quality (B-bomb, Dark Star) makes it that much better.

THIS! Have always wondered why Black Magicks are valued so high. I have had several Black Magicks now and whilst they are good, there are plenty of more easily acquired bottles I prefer and feel taste better.

Don't let the secret out. I love how easy Fremont is to get.

What kind of big stouts does a Schramm’s Black Agnes land? How close on a CTM or BA IGCCS or Starry, etc ...??

Also, why would someone trade for it, when they can buy it online via Schramm’s themselves? Eliminating giving up a big bottle stout for it.

I would not think this mead would trade much beyond $4$.....its available for shipment directly from them right now on their site.

There are certain batches that go for more than $4$, but to everyone's point if a person wasn't looking to complete a vertical or a certain batch I doubt it would pull anything super big. If you find a mead-head and have a batch 4 you might be able to talk them into something more than $4$.

Shipping from their online store can be quite expensive. One reason I tend to trade for their stuff over ordering it myself

For sure. Definitely a hurdle, but not something that would convince me to give up a big stout for it in a trade.

    Same question, different FT.

What kind of big stouts does a Yamazaki 12 land? How close on a CTM, Handjee, BA IGCCS or Starry, etc ...?? What if I add a Kurayoshi 12 (took gold at SF World Spirits competition and gold at World whiskies awards)?

This discussion happened not long ago should help give you an idea on where people view Yama 12's value. Have no idea what the value on Kurayoshi 12 is.

Yama 12 has become rare AF though recently, so way less common than folks think now.

That said -- $250-ish of Japanese whiskey, both rare-ish not ultra rare.

BA IGCCS? Starry? CTM? Any of those within reach for both?
