I think the most I can admit to is that I've never admitted to being horny for a beer brand. Me and Firestone kinda had a thing in the 90's

I'm a small business owner and while I don't flat out say I don't want to work with fascist tolerant trump supporters, 2 minutes digging around social media you can figure out my stance. You know what, I don't want their money anyway, most likely they are terrible people (because they support Trump after all of the cruelty and corruption) and I value good character more than money.

Politics and beer mix like fire and gasoline. But, then, I do so like burning things.

Maybe I'm a terrible person, but I'm more that willing to take jobs from people whom I find deplorable. Of course, I set high billing rates, and sandbag the hours, but I'll definitely take their money.

... perhaps, although I find that a lot of really passionate people, whether it be with regard to politics or the environment or myriad other "causes" just like to say stuff that allows them to go to bed feeling morally superior. In this case what does the statement accomplish other than making his future patrons likely to be somewhat more politically homogenous and getting free discussion board space on BA and perhaps in local media? I can pretty much bet ya the same proprietor is probably doing little that really helps the underserved and disadvantaged, but damn, I bet he feels wonderful having made his statement. In the end it is unlikely that anyone will change their political opinion as a result of his new restrictions. I can get good beers almost anywhere.

Sure we can! Over at WBAYDN! That's what I love about WBAYDN, not too much politics.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Like most Americans, the person who wrote that Instagram post shows little understanding of fascism or what a fascist is. It's sad how poorly educated (and pompous) so many "elite" Americans are.

Breweries are private businesses and I think they ( and all businesses) should be free to deny service to anyone they want to do.

However, it's unfair if people don't know about whom isn't welcome. If we are going to allow this, there needs to be a law that if you don't want to serve certain groups you must state it clearly on every piece of advertising, and clearly at the door and on all signs in the establishment, and on the menus and beer lists in large, easy to read letters exactly whom you wish to discriminate against. Sort of like other signs advertising refund policy, it would be a "Not Welcome Here..." sign. Make it easy for the folks not welcome to stay away, and for people who are against discrimination to stay away also, and to identify the businesses run by haters.

See how long any of them keep up the discrimination before going out of business.

As a human being in general I do not tolerate white supremacy or racism in my life either. If I owned a business and overheard that kind of talk I would promptly toss them out believe me. I do not think they were talking about trump voters. How I took it was an in general statement towards everybody.

This not might be the place to ask this but when did being a decent human being become political?
