I was thinking that, while there are many companies I avoid for various political and other reasons, I have eaten at Chick-fil-A (granted they didn't know I was an atheist and wouldn't have banned me if they did). But "chicken" brought to mind one of my favorite quotes from another divisive era in US history, the 1960s. Someone asked Colonel Sanders (the real one) what he thought about "the hippies" and he replied:
"They eat chicken, don't they?"

(Never really researched that - it's too good to find out it never happened or I'm misremembering it. Plus, a lot of hippies, being vegetarians, didn't eat chicken and others only ate the ones they raised themselves but...)

Yeah, but that's also true of all the on-topic beer threads ("Best NEIPA not brewed in New England" "Most Chill Brewpub without TV's but w/heavy metal jukebox" "Favorite scatological-themed beer label" ) and the beer reviews on this site.

Hey, get in line - I'm still waiting for my invitation to any brewery (also the county says they're too busy to send me my voting records so I can get in once there).

As someone pages earlier said, Trump v Biden isn't just a nuanced discussion of where marginal tax rates should fall. Five years of Trump as a candidate and president (plus another 6 years or so of race baiting Obama),a Trump supporter cannot say "well, I like his policies but..". You have to own it ALL. The racism, the ignorance, race baiting. Trump is and always has been a criminal. Only in private life he could sue his way out of any trouble. And don't even pretend that any of the actions or words of Biden even come close in totality to what Trump says virtually on a daily basis.

I"m certainly left of center(those social issues). I would vote for Romney, McCain, Bush in a heart beat over Trump. Trump is so egocentric that if/when he does lose, I fear it will be scorched earth. His nonsensical "fraud" conspiracies have pretty much already set this country's faith in voting back years if permanently.

Just look no further than this is a man who STILL says 2016 election was fraudulent even though he won. If you need just one piece of evidence that Trump only thinks of himself and not the country, here you go.
