My apologies for my tardiness @jrc1093 , I will do as many #chugs as a pennance as you see fit. I had my Day 5 from the Halloween BIF while on vacation, and even got the chance to share it! First impressions were that it was a Flanders style sour, but after pairing it with the candy, it really brought out the sweetness and toned down the sourness. No way in hell I would have ever guessed this was a sour porter, there was nothing porter about this bad boy. Very unique, and very tasty... especially when consumed with the included straws Thanks again Jake!
As with Day 5, Day 6 was also consumed while away on vacation! The foil on the cap came off mid-transit, and after having the first TH bottle earlier, I had a pretty good feeling about what I was getting into. Smooth and sweet... Yuppers, Tree of Life from TH. Straight from this fridge, this had some sort of weird metallic inish to it, but after it warmed up some, all I got was a sweet and smooth BW, excellently paired with the candy. Thanks once again @jrc1093 for another stellar day!

Just like that, time flew by and I lost track of it. Time for a hot round of Newbies Christmas BIF 2020! The requirements: Minimum 100oz, 4.3+ BA/ 4.0+ untappd rating unless it is a want of your target. Please try to stick to the ratings requirements, there have been a handful of beers in the past recent rounds that didn't quite hit the required rating. The only special requirements this time around is that there be a piece of swag (sticker, shirt, hat, glass, etc.) be included, as well as ONE container of beer be wrapped as a "present" to be unwrapped, and posted to BA, by your target on December 25th, 2020. It does not have to be consumed that day, but please VBS it in a timely fashion. The only stipulation I am putting on this "present" is that it should be just that; a present (in your eyes) from you to your target. This could be a want, a whale, or even a "karma bottle", for example. In the spirit of the holiday, I am throwing the other "normal" rules and/or regulations out the window. It is possible that your target this round may be a repeat from another round, from a neighboring state, from the same state, or maybe possibly, from the same household! This is open to any past participants or lurkers. Newbie Newbies looking to join with fewer than 5 positive trades will require a sponsor - if that's you, just speak up and we'll figure something out! The timeline: Given the timing of this round, please aim to have your box in your target's hands no later than December 18th. We have all sent beer mail and should know how long it should take a box to go from point A to point B, so plan accordingly, especially with the holiday packages being shipped. Problems may arise in shipping times because of the time of year, which is why it is best to ship sooner than later.
