I made a necessary stop at Munster Donut.

So do people wait to get home to check their variant or do they pull over to check once out of the parking lot?

I checked one at the traffic light and the other while filling up at Speedway.

 

I picked up my 2 allotments and 1 for my buddy. We wound up with rrari , hella, and my rod my comfort. Really wanted to try chemtrail and was hoping one of us would have landed it.

 

So by my math, I only have a 26.03% (3,800 / 14,600) of being really disappointed...Somehow, I still don’t like those odds

 

Has anyone tried regular yet???

Picked up on Thursday and got Chemtrailmix and Pierre's Javelin.

 

4pm on Friday, The train of semi’s made it a bitch to get back to 3 Floyds. I’m glad they provide an alternate route to exit the brewery area.

I got a Keyrock and Hellaboozie.

You can rest assured, it's classic Dark Lord.

However, I've never cracked a fresh vintage of Dark Lord calmly sitting in my living room upon or shortly after "release", let alone been remotely lucid while having a fresh batch, so I'm enjoying more deliberately contemplating it here.

It's still that unusual roast that no one really seems to ever discuss, which I firmly believe is the primary contributor to those unmentionable flavors people always attribute to DL. It's that sort of alderwood or hickory like roast just short of smoke. This is inevitably smothered by that expected blanket of sweetness we're all familiar with, which I've always found to have a cherry/raspberry accent (without any tartness), mixed with a dark chocolate that always turns to lightly nutty cacao and coffee liqueur. The body is fluffy thick--by its original standards, not the modern pastry sludge standards--and not too sticky on the lips after the easy finish. I've always been astounded by how easy this beer goes down for its ABV and heft. There's almost never any heat whatsoever, often assisted by a pleasant mouthfeel, but 2020 seems even fluffier for some reason.

I know it's not the in thing to dig DL, but I've always thoroughly enjoyed it, and this is a good year for me.

Picked up 3 packages this morning. FVM and 2 Keyrock. Not too shabby

 

Picked up mine and my brother's order. Got a Chemtrail and Hellaboozie. Sort of makes up for getting shut out at Binny's.
