    Good morning BAs!

Starting a relaxing day with a collab English Barleywine from Pipeworks and Local Option.

Very deep red color, minimal head and lacing, light carbonation. Aroma and taste is oak, alcohol, caramel, brown sugar. Full bodied, nicely flavored, smooth.

Leffe d’été which is summer Leffe, and it needed to be finished as we are way past summer season now.

    Good morning BA
Finally off work for a whopping 48 hours. Just enough time for a whiskey & beer breakfast, nap and leaf cleanup / mowing.

Dogfish Head Camp Fire Amplifier with a side of Johnnie Walker Red. The beer hits the mark with the smores experience, but the cinnamon was a little heavy for my palate. The Scotch does a nice job of accenting the smokey elements of the beer, which I enjoy.

Cheers all and enjoy your Tuesday!

What a beautiful day it is in Massachusetts, and especially so when you don’t have to work. Got a lot of exercise in this morning, between walking the dog, working out at home, and going for a run....now just in the door and having a beer with lunch. This beer is delicious, a 4.0% Czech lager from the great lager producer, Notch Brewing Company!

A nice fresh hop beer here, Lagunitas Born Yesterday.

    Two for Tuesday, Gordon Lightfoot.

Today is the 45th Anniversary of The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Speaking of wrecks, the Tony LaRussa hiring was bad enough two weeks ago, it has gotten worse.

@ChicagoJ, Yes «Gitchie Gumie ». While a bit too young to have heard of that incident, I have listened to this song on and off for years. Good one, well written and a poignant tribute to those dead.

For the last week we’ve been breaking temperature records on a daily basis. Today it’s 21 Celsius, which absolutely rocks. Did my bike ride in shorts and open toed sandals.

First beer of the day is Augustijn Blond from Brouwerij Van Steenberge. 7% ABV and a nice beer, although nowhere near the best from this brewery. Cheers.

I second that about the weather, I went to work and then suddenly came down with an illness and left. You don't get many days like this, this time of year and we have had 4 in a row now. Cheers.

Cheers to the men on that boat.
I saw the news about LaRussa this morning, so much for crossing the T's and dotting the i's before giving someone a ton of money.

Lotta leaves to clean up in that yard...I'll choose the porch and a Hamms. Leaves will still be there this weekend. Cheers!
