What beer are you drinking now? #2944

Have a good Wednesday. Honoring all veterans on this Veterans Day. Slept in until 3PM yesterday, so been up all night as expected. Talked to my GF for an hour at 10 PM and was already lit up by then, and been riding that all night. I made a quick cooking video for fun. I used to have one when I was a Sophomore in college, my suitemate filmed and edited the videos. Might still be some of the videos out there on the internet archives. My roommate could have them if he had everything backed up properly. I did not eat anything all day so I had the eggs and then some cheese dogs (y) Also got some bud and a 600mg edible to share with my GF this weekend, so it’s going to be insanely amazing.

I see so many Hop Heads beers posted in this thread series, thinking about breaking down and taking the South Shore Electric Slide train one day over the border to Indiana and grab some.

I've waited a few weeks before finally getting to my first Cafe Deth of this year's release. Canned 10/14, this is another great batch by the great team at Revolution Brewing. A little more mellow than last October, in some ways a better offering.

Kettlehead Java The Nut Coffee and Coconut Porter 6.5% and really a treat. The head Brewer was brewing this long before OB Death By Coconut came out, when he was still just a home Brewer.

Good morning, BAs! Thanks to @JayWhitson for my first taste of Mountains Walking. From the land of 3 foot snowdrifts.

Not sure what makes this a “Pre-Prohibition” lager, but I’m really enjoying it on this hot and muggy morning. Storms a’comin.

 

I took yesterday off as a cleanse day. Rainy blustery morning...I’ve been busy storm proofing the yard, now that ETA has veered eastward. Time for a coffee break - Péché Mortel:



I’ll run out later and fill the gas cans for the generators; hopefully the storm continues northward, and we just get a glancing blow of wind and rain. Cheers and have a dry sunny day y’all!

 

Thank you, got it for free from their release party last year. Sad they couldn't host these this year. Hope all who like coffee stouts here can track these down this year or down the road.

A much lighter second beer, Beachwood's Hayabusa, a good rice base lager.

Beer #2. Thanks @bl00 for this hella-thick Veil sour goodness. I wonder if @vabeerguy would enjoy such a beer in this tumultuous year? I certainly do.

 

Just a "Hazy Little Thing" IPA. Extremely drinkable.
