So what do we need to do/how many Rev Rewards points to add the Rev Santa Hat to the Merry Fistmas Combo?

 

It's more like top 600 (which is ~700ish points) these days with the online releases. We can't guarantee anything going forward, not knowing what the landscape will be like, but that's how it's been for the last few. The number also can vary based on which beers are being released and how much of each we have. The ones later in the year tend to be smaller batches.

As one of the few BAs a couple inches taller than you, Doug... how long are the sleeves on that jacket for you? I have monkey arms, so I rarely spring for long-sleeved merch.

For those not in Fight Club: I am Jack's inflamed sense of rejection.

 

Having had a few different bourbon-maple beers lately, I am even more impressed with what Rev did with Maple Deth. They weren’t all stouts, so not quite an apples-to-apples comparison but they have been either really sweet, not well-integrated, lacking barrel presence, or some combination thereof. I just love how the flavors are balanced and the maple really seems like part of the beer rather than existing on its own or hitting like a ton of bricks. For me nuance, complexity, and harmony will always win out over in-your-face EXTREMENESS.

 

Any noticeable differences between this year's batches and prior years?

XL for me, though whenever I visited the taproom I checked those black-on-black logo shirts every time and only S and M remained (maybe there were L at first). Obviously I was too late when they first came out, but if they ever get reordered, I'll be grabbing of those mofo's in XL.
