I haven't had a chance to try any yet, plus not all are even canned yet, but I'm told that some dented/lowfill Deth by Cherries cans are in my office so I'll let you know soon.

I just got my first opportunity to buy as a VIP and it was awesome not freaking out trying to get online and being able to pickup on Friday. Wife didn’t even know I drove 4 hours round trip to pickup beer.

Is there a discounted section on your site for scratch and dent cans? We may need to shop those towards the end of the Deep Woods release schedule.

Grabbed a 4-pack of regular Deth based on its hype in this thread (I typically pass) and, while I'm not blown away it is very, very good. Good enough that I can pass on BCBS this year.

I really feel like the big Chicago brewers should have a stout festival outside of Fobab where the winning brewery hosts the next year and it is a tasting of the ~7 best stouts in the area similar to BCBS Black Fridays tasting, but its done blind with different breweries each submitting their favorite entry. Outside of the big Chicago 4, who would the other 3 be? Would you keep it local to Chicago or open it up to the region's top BA stout brewers like a P3 or Mikerphone or FFF?

If we're going off of quality of their barrel aging program, I'd put Cruz Blanca in there

They use too many adjuncts and not enough additives for my liking

They're not invited until they prove they can make a good base stout.

For Chicago, would consider "mid-majors" Haymarket, Spiteful & Lake Effect.

If Suburbs were considered in a separate bracket, would add Hubbard's Cave and Wild Onion.

I’m drinking a Vanilla Deth now. I just realized I drank a Vanilla Benthic last night. And a P3 BIB the night before.

P3 BiB took me 2.5 hours to drink a single can.
V Benthic 2020 was more coconut forward and a decadent, delightful treat. Maybe not as luxurious as 2019, but I was still a happy camper.
VDeth right now... vanilla has fallen off. Not super thick, creamy, sweet, or over-the-top. Just rock solid. To me, drinking much better than when fresh. No oxidation or “staleness.” It’s roasty, bitter, sweet, bourbon-vanilla, with some integrated heat that makes this a dangerous beer. Dang, son. This mellowed into a subtle, complex, harmonized study of contrasts that entices you to drink it quickly, even as you seek to savor it.

my cup is empty, but my palate overfloweth

Based on the prior two releases, the public sale will likely be on Tuesday the 17th.
