    look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Picked up 24 bottles on a whim - as the case was on sale...

    7.5% abv, pours a clear amber with a tight white head of compact bubbles which settle into a laced ring relatively quickly.

    On the nose, subtle saison (barnyard funk) smells - yeast layered upon a solid malt backbone.

    On the mouth, up front - light and effervescent with taste following the nose and the taste is consistent through the middle to back of mouth with enough hops and effervescence to cleanse the palette -

    Slight warming all the way down...

    Overall, a real nice table bier, will age a few to see how the flavors evolve,

    A solid purchase.

    Morning Advocates, Hobgoblin « Ruby ».

    It’s a nice variant of this series, brewed with sweet caramel, rich chocolate, a fruity finish of figues raisins and dates. Very palatable...Cheers!

    Have a good Thursday. I was up until 2AM. I bought a chess timer that will be here tomorrow with my chess board from Amazon. I'll take a pic. Did a 1+ hour skype video call with my gf last night, then I ran over to my sisters house to buy an eighth from my BIL. Already into my first bowl of the morning. 2 more days til I see my lover again.

    Amazing DIPA as usual. I need to get another 6 pack.

    Have you watched Queen's Gambit on Netflix? My wife and I enjoyed this limited series about a female chess prodigy.

    I just watched the first episode over my sister's house a few days ago. That was amazing, so I will definitely watch the rest of the series soon! I've been addicted to chess for 4 months now. My and my friend from middle/high school have played 72 games on lichess.org together since the beginning of July. :slight_smile:
