Notwithstanding a late start today, I’ve managed to repair two bird feeders and refill and hang all...It’s 86° in the shade and sunny, which I’ll take over the rain and high humidity since I returned home...lunch beer is courtesy of @rmank, who rarely graces our pages since he got married and now has a newborn - “Seconds From Midnight”, a sour ale with Blueberries, Passionfruit, Boysenberries and Plums added:



Delicious balance of sour fruit and semi sweet malt base. I could drink multiples of this beer (6.2%) especially on a hot/humid day like today. This brewery turns out exceptional fruited sours, BA beers, and, of course, tasty IPAs like Sungazer. Thanks Ryan!

Happy Friday, BA. I'd taken the day off with the intent to pick up leaves, again. The rain has put a damper on those plans, so I suppose I'll drink some beers and watch The Masters. Starting with a Magnify Infinite Universe. I'd picked this one up on the recommendation of @MacMalt . It's a hugeeee beer, but goes down surprisingly easy. cheers!

Next up Kettlehead Dreamstate.

 

TGIF. Felt like having something that I very very rarely buy, why? Because you never know how old they are, and if there’s a beer voted most likely to be skunked a bit this one might be at the top end of the list.

So why now? Well It’s a Festive Edition so this one I’m quite sure is as fresh as it gets. Best By date is July 2021 which means absolutely nothing to me.

Supreme densely foamed head you could float a half dollar on, no funny smells, just smells like beer. A tad sweetish, but it’s a clean drinking beer, got that bit of a bitterish finish I was expecting from this beer. Easy drinking enough, certainly unique in a world of AALs, it finishes unlike the rest in class. Not terribly expensive $14.99 12 pack, I never buy 12 packs. Fresh this is simply a nice easy Friday beer, nothing surprising here but the fresh part, I don’t buy this kinda beer guessing age, but I find it a satisfying beer to sip on.
