Dagnabit, I need to read this thread closer. I saw "Cryo Mosaic" on the shelf and bought the IIPA. Now I see that it's a limited Pale Ale that was recently released. I'm not strict on freshness but this first can (10/1) is an odd combination of malty and sweet with an astringent bitter kick on the finish.

FYI - lizard king vs cryo did hit distro (garfields & beer temple at least).

I’m only a couple sips in, but it tastes as blue as tonight’s sunset was jack-o-lantern orange. It’s like blue fundip but not sweet.

Man, I haven’t had such fruit from a non-NEIPA in a while. Ohhhhh I like this. I want to say it is crisp and subtle but I don’t think it is?

    I’m vibing on this hard.

not to mention the can art is sweet and it was $11 or something.

I don’t want to play hype games but if you like beer that tastes like beer, you owe it to yourself to drink this beer. @croush - am I crazy? Drink this right now and report back!

Yea, lots of blueberry in that one. I thought it was delicious - it really reminded me why I used to have Pdubs as my #1 IPA producer in the city.

I saw it hit Beer Temple, here’s to hoping it hits my Binny’s!

Cryo LK is fucking delicious--this is one of the best IPAs I've had in years. Please make this a regular.

thank you. I feel like this is a top 10 2020 beer for me, and I did not understand the lack of hype. I even gave one to someone on these forums with the hopes that he could confirm my excitement. I gave explicit instructions to savor it on a fresh palate. Several pastry stouts in, he split it amongst other people. I won’t name any names, but suffice it to say, monsters do exist.

    don’t they @croush? Don’t they? :cry::tired_face::kissing_heart:

I won’t argue, I love LK as well. Cryo tastes like a very different beer. Comes off as more of an IPA than pale.

Agreed. Very much an IPA with the lots of hops and bitterness. Regular LK is much fruitier to me

It's hard GD work being a clear beer in a hazy, pastry stout boi's world.

I would’ve had a fresh palate if some other monsters around these parts hadn’t already been slurping up pastry stouts before I arrived. Far be it from me to be rude enough to withdraw the beer I hoped all of us to enjoy at the beginning.

    Can confirm.
Is it going to see distro? I'm not driving up there for it, but if I come across a 4-pack I won't be able to resist picking one up.

They didn’t mention in it from what I’ve seen, so assuming Dojo only. But we thought that with Cryo LK, so who knows.

I think initially they even specifically said it was dojo only ...

    guess we'll see what happens.

Picked up some No Save Point at the Dojo today after my pickup at Revolution. It's pretty enjoyable. Quoting my review below:

Pours as thick as any of PW's oat IPAs (Velocity of Light, Speed of Sound, etc.) but is not quite as opaque in the glass. Full finger of head with good retention. Smells a bit grassy and sharp, as if it were foreshadowing some hop burn, but that never arrives on the tongue; it drinks quite smooth. Other aromas of pineapple, mandarin orange, and very light vanilla. Quite fruity on the palate, pineapple, peach, and papaya. The hop burn I was expecting doesn't materialize, but it does lend a moderate bitterness near the finish, which I perceive as a good balance to the rest of the flavor profile but some folks may not want from their NEIPAs.

Good to see another collaboration between PW and Run the Jewels.

I took a 36 hours beer trip to Massachusetts/Vermont about 3 weeks ago and loaded up on a bunch of Tree House, Alchemist and Hill Farmstead. If the No Save Point was in a Tree House can, I'd believe it was on of there beers. It's really balanced and, for lack of better words, just a damn great beer.
