Maybe they should make beers that aren't so "fragile"?

Nah... if the beer is hazy, it'll get 4+ across the board on Untappd.

This is 100% fact, nothing controversial here if you ask me. You may get some people riled up with this one though. We shall see...

I was gonna say people get burnt on freshly canned “off batches” seemingly pretty regularly and people still go back for some other beer next time with no guarantee it won’t be “off.”

I almost created a thread this morning, but decided against it because of what you had stated.

Had quite a few Celebrations and a couple Tree House beers this weekend and the Celebrations were wayyy better IMO. Like not even close. Maybe it’s that hazy thing going on, maybe not.

I’m wondering too if SN uses whole cone hops and TH uses pellets, which could be the difference?

    Sabro still sucks in IPAs.
    I know. Not controversial.
But a man can hope brewers are listening.

It's probably because Tree House makes mostly New England IPAs and Celebration is a West Coast style IPA. So they're different styles.

Now if you compared Hazy Little Thing to Tree House that would be more appropriate. Although Hazy Little Thing still isn't quite a true New England IPA, but it's FAR closer than Celebration.

Athletic is about all I'm drinking anymore. Occasionally, some Sierra Nevada or Odell slip into my fridge, but really enjoying Athletic. Especially now that I can buy it locally vs. ordering online.

FWIW, I was impressed with their Run Wild and Freeway IPAs, but their All Out stout is my favorite of their portfolio I've had so far. Surprisingly rich and decadent, especially for sub-100 calories and being non-alcoholic. It's more full and rewarding to enjoy than some local stouts with alcohol. I haven't been able to try their gose or Oktoberfest yet, but wouldn't mind trying the latter. We only get their flagships in our stores.

I was gonna say something to this extent as well...in terms of SN or Tree House the comparison is more a matter of preference of style. I just jumped on because for my preference yes I 100% agree with @BeastOfTheNortheast but there are a lot of people that probably would beg to differ.

Speaking of such does anyone know if Tree House brews a classic, clear, bitter IPA? Just out of curiosity.

Not half as bad as Loral though, which shouldn't be controversial either.

It's a quad, though, not an IPA.

I agree. It is about all I am drinking right now as well. I am sure I will make a trip up to Jack's Abby again as soon as it gets a bit cooler but for now I am content.

I really like Run Wild--especially fresh. I will have to check out their stout again. The batch I had seemed to be overly chewy but perhaps it was a bad batch. Athletic has an Athletic Club subscription--where they will deliver a 12 pack a month. The nice thing about that is that they give subscription members first dibs to beers like the Oktoberfest. If nothing else I am keeping my subscription for that access.

I did enjoy the Tripel beer share, never had a Quad, I’ll look tomorrow.

That’s fairly impressive for a non-alcoholic stout to be OVERLY chewy.
