Have a good Tuesday. Tonight is the 1 year anniversary of a lesson that changed my life for the better. I certainly have much to repay to my family, but the gratitude will be restored in full. Aside from only being able to find minimum wage work for the moment, life hasn't been better in all my 33.5 years. A beautiful rehabilitation with a much more thorough and optimistic view on life's future. Enjoy all things in moderation, and don't let yourself fall into abuse. I was drinking 8 beers a night or more for 3-5 years leading up to a year ago. If you haven’t noticed positive changes in my posting patterns, you probably just ignore my existence.

I haven’t reviewed in forever, just finding better ways to spend my time, but I’ll definitely get more into it again. I have to go over my Sister’s house later this morning, and watch my nephew as the school was canceled after the power outages. I am going to leave there when my BIL gets off work at 2PM, then I am driving to my girlfriend’s house and we are going to Der Dutchman for dinner. I was really hyping up their roast beef this week, so it’s going down. Here is today’s cat pic. 3 AM yawns.

New Holland Coastal Dreams. Awesome NEDIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light caramel/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready malts and some sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 9% or lingering hop burn after the finish. Awesome Denali, Simcoe and El Dorado profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Very well done! 4.13

Haven't listened to this album in a while. One of my favorites.

    Cheers Ian!

Life change are good things when you realize you’ve been drinking too much and you may have been in a mental or ethanol fog.

Drinking Duvel Tripel Hop Citra - new label? It’s pretty and has a nice retro look to it... beer is just the same.

    Cheers all!

Congratulations Ian / @superspak , and hope you continue to have good fortune with your new lifestyle.

Starting the day checking to see if the light snow dusting received in the burbs (it didn't) and enjoying a Founders KBS Espresso. Founders' stouts are a great value, as their price and quality are hard to beat. Pairs perfectly with breakfast of blueberries and a slice of German cake. My homemade attempt to recreate Lizard of Koz!!!

Missed the Grateful Dead hour last night, but will hit up the archive later today. Playing these in the interim on Two for Tuesday!

Good day BAs! Ian, keep at it! You seem to be making good progress - eventually it'll become second nature.

Today's forecasted snow is just beginning - four hours late. We will allegedly receive about two inches so no problem. JoeBob is rambling around his dock - first time in two days he's been out of the water. Usually he sleeps on the dock when I'm computing. Looks like he's going to settle in for a pre-winter nap.

Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge from Brouwerij Omer Vander Ghinste - a nice Flemish cherry sour - one of my favorite styles of which I need to drink more.

Good morning BAs! Beautiful, cool 61°, sunny, breezy morning to walk the dogs. Kitchen chores complete...coffee time - FBS:

Bottled 7/24/20. Poured at 54°. Delish as always. I may start taking down and boxing up the Halloween Village this morning; the Honda has a 1pm appointment, so lunch/beers at the pub later for me - Cheers!

Putting up the Christmas lights today. Or rather, I hired someone to do it, since ladders and I don't do well together.
A Christmas beer is in order.

I was surprised to read it’s been a year already...and that you only recently showed your Tool to your girlfriend. Most guys try to pull out their Tool as fast as possible. Once people start playing with their Tool, they find it difficult to stop.

A bit disappointed with this one. Seems more like a light beer to me. A bit bland.

Now I've got to choke down the rest of the 12-pack.
