What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #2952

Now it is on!

 

Second beer of the day is Blackberry Pi, a 6.5% Sour aged on blackberries in red wine barrels from The Exchange Brewery in Niagara-On-The-Lake Ontario. This brewery is only 325 kilometres from my house-a stones throw in this province-yet I rarely see their stuff in my market. On a tasting note, this is one of the driest finishing beers I’ve ever had. Very nice. Cheers.

 

Last of my Sucks. Which as it turns out, is just a clever name. It definitely doesn't suck. Cheers!

 

Home home again, I like to be here when I can.

Time

 

Drinking a Cold Brew Coffee Pumking from Southern Tier Brewing. Is it breakfast or dessert? Halloween or Thanksgiving? It is everything and nothing. Cheers all!

 

Work is done for the day. Son is outside playing with his friends. Solid hour before I gotta start cooking dinner. I'm having a pint of Fire in the Ham and playing my drums!

 

Classic Saint Arnold Amber. I love this beer.

Spinning some Patsy Cline, the title track might as well be the 2020 theme song.

Stop The World and Let Me Off

 

I saw that Donald Byrd album was just reissued in the Blue Note Tone Poet Series. That series as a whole is absolutely fantastic, and the best thing they have done since the reissue series from the mid 70's. I have been debating on getting that album, but this might have convinced me

First time I've had this one in more than a decade, just because my dad got me a mixed case of NB. Not the worst amber, but far from the best.

 

The missus and I are prematurely celebrating my birthday on the 22nd, since us retail workers will never get anything around the holidays off!

I went for Piraat because it was one of the only Belgians I haven’t tried yet. And I have to say it’s one of my least favorite. It’s pretty balanced and easy, but there’s not too much to it.



But hey, the sunset’s pretty nice tonight!




It’s just getting deeper and more purple by the second.

 

Was that purchased locally or from the Bells General store? Would love to try that one.
