    What happened to Racer 5? Haven't had one in years and I'm drinking one now... A sweet, alcoholic mess. Did the move to Cloverdale derail this beer or did I just get an off bottle?

    Cans or bottles? I grabbed a 12pk of cans the other day, maybe not quite as much bitterness as I remember but its got a nice dry finish.

    EDIT: I see now you mentioned bottle.

    confirms why i haven't seen fresh 12pk bottles in a while.

    I'm currently getting almost all my West Coast from Highland Park and Green Cheek these days. ZERO COMPLAINTS! These two are the very best at it and I can't decide which one is better.

    I also supplement occasionally with MT's monthly releases. Some of their recent westies have been pretty damn good. (I can barely stand their haze anymore, though, but this is not the place to discuss that)

    Also found a fresh 4pk of North Park's Sorta Mostly Dead recently. Great stuff! Was excited to find them this far north after hearing good things about them the past few months. Not disappointed.

    Beachwood is probably still amazing for West Coast but I just don't find enough opportunities to put them in my beer fridge anymore (I barely do bottle shops anymore and yet my fridge is always stocked).

    El Segundo Brewing is practically in my back yard but I feel like others mentioned above have surpassed them in the West Coast game the past couple years. They are reliable, but rarely great, imo. Maybe I need to give them more chances?

    Don’t pass up on Green Cheeks DDH Skeleton Wing. I think this is their first DDH west coast ipa. On the money.

    just finished my first, was hoping for more? maybe my tastes are off?, last week Inhume nothing special, thinking West Coast IPA is Dead better :slight_smile:
