    Have a good Monday. Ended up sleeping until 930PM yesterday. I went to sleep with my gf around 8AM, and then I woke up around 10AM and we talked to each other about random shit for 2 hours in bed. I took a melatonin before I laid down, so it definitely knocks you out. I will have to get a bottle lol. I had a big ass plate of spaghetti and 8 garlic bread for my only meal of the day last night. Also got the new Sincerely Louis C.K. downloaded earlier, and it was amazing. Funniest thing I've seen all year. He is his usual lewd self, but it is still amazing. He doesn't give a fuck about offending people. I got some cat pics during the night. Bo is still on that couch hours later. He is my favorite one. Chuck likes to think that he can open doors, but I have no proof of it. I tend to keep it that way. I need to go to work and finish my training courses today for sure. Should have gone in yesterday, but I slept.

    Amazing as usual. Been a while for me. Cans AND dating now. That's a big step forward! :clap: Citra, Simcoe, Centennial hops. Classic and modern.

    Pretty good and unique deleting some of the sugar, malt and gravity for added, yet unnamed, spice. Drinkable and complex at 8%.

    @Roguer Westmalle, no doubt. Actually Westmalle, Karmeliet and Gouden Carolus triple are by far the best tripel and I can’t really tell which is my favorite.

    Honorable mentions to St Bernardus Triple and La Fin du monde but they aren’t in the same league.

    Interesting, I think I agree, but it’s been a while since I had Tripels, as I gravitate to Quads. I’ll have to revisit soon. Cheers!

    Westmalle is my benchmark, hands down.

    I was really impressed with St. B, actually. They're obviously most famous for ABT 12, but I think all four of their "core" abbey beers (6, 8, 12, and Tripel) are fantastic.

    I put La Fin du Monde up there in that top tier. Allagash Tripel is still my favorite American (US) Tripel, and it's not even close, but if I drink it more frequently than Westmalle, it's only because of the price difference. :slight_smile:

    Price is a bit of an issue I am sure. Every tripel I have mentioned are around or even under 2€ depending on where you purchase them, which for a single 330ml of such treats is definitely worthy.

    La fin du Monde is pretty much unavailable here on the shelves, I have to order it online for well over 5,50€ so I refrain.

    Thanksgiving week. We usually go to my daughter's house to see her and our grandsons, but not this year. We'll have a Zoom Thanksgiving instead (actually two of them).
    I am drinking a new beer from Ex Novo, Verbose Verbiage. It's a very nice west coast IPA.

    Btw, seeing y'all's triple discussion, may I ask: How often do you detect a small but considerable hop bite in any of your favorite triples?
