People are silly. Some legend-in-the-making claims to have driven from Connecticut to the Chicago area on back-to-back weekends to get Prop Days and P3 bottles....

 

Ha! I saw that. I guess they don’t make barrel aged beers in Connecticut.

 

Silly question for ambassadors but I was wondering, is the membership guaranteed for life or until you decide to opt out or will there ever be a chance for new people to become ambassadors? I can only dream what it must feel like to be an ambassador!

 

Asked about new ambassador membership openings when I picked up curvature today. The guy I spoke to said they would be opening new slots in December. So yay. Hopefully when I got in the waiting list that will get me on.
Also echoing what @Jplachy said about Pixel Density Lite. Absolute sorcery for a 4.5% beer. This needs to get made year round but especially during the summer.

I'll say, I'm not a big PD reg fan because I think it's light enough already, but the wife really likes PD Lite so I drank one tonight and...it has surprisingly good flavor for a "light" endeavor.

 

One idiot's opinion...they will offer all Ambassadors the option to renew. Even if every single person opts in, I'd imagine with their popularity there would be space for new people to join as well.

Let me say, as someone who joined last year...while it's not cheap (and will most likely be more expensive next year), it was 100% worth it for me.

That’s the same thought I had. I figure they would give current ambassadors first dibs. And even if it’s $100 more this time around, it’s still definitely worth it. Crossing my fingers that I become an ambassador one day.

 

I wouldn't complain if they did a "hey, we're opening it up for the next X number of people that sign up in person starting now" for at least some of them.

I feel like he said in the Facebook live video (from the taproom) that they wouldn’t be expanding the number of Ambassadors all that much for next year. But they’d want to have bottles frequently available in the taproom instead. I could be misremembering

 

I assume new slots would largely be people not renewing or people that aren’t invited back.

 

What would get someone not invited back?

Is flipping one of the Ambassador no-no’s? I thought that was a feature of the in person tasting this weekend though- to let the flippers still taste the beer?

 

Unless you signed up for it last year, I assume the waitlist is rather long. Think he said over 2500 ppl signed up for the ambassadors program and I think there are only 1000 members (could be wrong). That’s a lot of ppl on that list.

 

Yeah, they said if they found people flipping they would get kicked out of the program.

 

it would be novel to see a brewery actually back up this claim/threat.

 

I heard that when the Coterie started that Cory from side project was hunting some people down. Haven't heard of many other places doing that though
