    look: 4.25 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

    Pale, peach hued body, opaque; thick and billowy white head, dense and creamy in texture. Some biscuit tones and mild citrus on the nose. Cracker and biscuit grain flavors; light boozy note; moderate hop bitterness; minor twinge of citrus fruit taste. Heavy body; dense and full with a creamy feel; dull sweetness balanced with a soft dryness and mild alcohol warmth.

    Outer Range never puts dates on their cans, and I've had this beer for a while. The tropical and citrus fruit character they were looking for based on the hops used (Columbus, Azacca, Wai-iti) pretty much have wafted out of existence. The beer is decent enough for a double NEIPA, but trying it fresh may have presented a better suggestion of what the brewery was going for.

    Very tasty German "IPA" from the Kalea collection. That's a bit of a misnomer. Reminds me of a UK pale ale or a heavier Einstok pale ale. Quite good.

    After an afternoon of working the chainsaw cleaning up my mess from last summer, my feet hurt, my back hurts and I deserve a JACKIE DAYTONA. I'll be asleep in this chair in about 2 hours.
    So damn good until I get to the bottom and it's like a shot of orange flavored vodka.
