Since New England (Massachusetts, specifically) invented America, Thanksgiving is actually our holiday. Obviously, the backstory is quite peaceful, inspiring, and 100% true. The whites came here and built communities and forged friendships with the indigenous peoples. We worked alongside them, treated them fairly, and, in return, they graciously showed us how to make turkey and homemade gravy. A fun time was had by all.

So what's everyone drinking to celebrate said momentous holiday? I've got a couple table beers (Keeping Together, Threes) for the dinner. Notch will hold up the bulk end of the cooking, prep work, wait time/football consumption. I was thinking about breaking out 2019 BCBS for a post-kids bedtime snack. Maybe Mott the Lesser.

I think St Bernardus Abt 12 complements a traditional turkey dinner really well. Just picked up a bottle yesterday.

I’ll follow your lead with a table beer (Fox Farm; I know, unoriginal for me) during the meal. Bloody Mary’s prior to dinner and then something decadent for dessert. Will have to shop around for that one.

I picked up a four pack of Brewery Silvitacus's saison, Apropos, the other week so I have one of those for dinner. A four pack of 500mL bottles and a glass for $30 is a steal. Then I have a bottle of Double Barrel Tiramisu once some food is digested.

I liked Apropos. I'm considering going and grabbing a four-pack of the doppelbock (and probably the peach saison).

I was jealous to see the doppelbock was canned now. Can't quite get there soon enough to snag a four pack.

Curious if Boston or MA tries to shut alcohol purchases Wednesday which has been popping up in other states.

Ludicrous idea if you ask me.

It's going to be mostly Fox Farm for me, picking up a mix of Double Burst, Tiddly, Roam, Stet, and Scatter tomorrow. But my brother is bringing a couple Troon IPAs as well, which I've been itching to try. I have a trillium stout (Seven Isles) ready for dessert, but a big ol bottle like that might be overly ambitious.

I'm either doing a 2017 Trader Joe's Vintage Ale or Exhibit 'A' Weights & Measures Barleywine for dinner. I have a couple of Framinghammer varients in the fridge for dessert.

I picked up a bunch of bottles of Benevolence so I'll definitely be having one of those. Other than that, might pop a gueuze or kriek, just got some Focal and Heady so those are likely candidates, and I have my Notch order. Not planning on going crazy (i.e. I'm not going to drink all of these things) but I also could pull out a wild card here and there as well.

Trying to drink less so I'm going to with just 1-2 beers total for the day, but going big with the 1 or 2. Grabbed 4 different Boulevard options from which to choose, but a bottle of Rye on Rye with maple syrup is a certainty.

2 see you on the other side
    1 standard
    1 tenner
    1 shot of wild turkey.

That's it. Can't go crazy, working Friday.

At the moment it looks like I'm going to be alone on thanksgiving so it will probably just be me and a bottle of distilled mashed potatoes from poland or russia. If not vodka it is going to be an imperial stout day (as most days have been recently)

Arthur as a pregame, carving and dinner beer, then a shitload of Naragansett, then some responsibly chugged BA barleywines and stouts from Barreled Souls.

    Definites:

Celebration and hopefully some Mayflower Thanksgiving Ale (couldn't find it the other day)

Sessionable stuff: And then some mix of...

    Notch Schwarzbier
Paulaner Pils ($8 a four pack and canned in September, HIGHLY RECOMMEND)
Zero Gravity's new Czech Pils and/or Export Stout
    Jack's Abby Red Tape Lager

And whatever else in my fridge that I can't think of at the moment.

I may or may not have a beer with dinner. I'm not a big pairing food with beer guy. I like to enjoy my beer separately.

I'll be watching a decent amount of football and enjoying some of the Treehouse that I picked up last week. Definitely a glass of red wine with turkey and the fixins. Dessert will likely consist of the 2020 BCBS Special #4.

Hill and / or Fox Farm saisons during the day and probably with the meal. Probably a Copestone or Fox Farm stout after dinner.
