This latest batch got the attention of folks in the Pacific Forum. Were they ever right. Alvarado Street nailed this one to absolute perfection.

Drawing some inspiration from @Roguer and having a brew while doing some dinner prep. This is, I believe, my last beer from @beertunes. Gruff's Fest Bier is an easy drinker that goes well with kitchen work.

Carousel House from Kane Brewing Company in Ocean, NJ. One in a long line of delicious American/New England Double/Imperial IPAs from Mike Kane & Co. Got out early (because I am scheduled to work the overnight tomorrow) and decided to enjoy this by the fire. Apropos of nothing, I woke this morning with this song in my head (listen for the word, "action"):

Stay Safe, Gotta Love That Nightlife, and Sláinte!

Station 26 Hell Bear whiskey barrel aged stout after a morning of digging out. There's a pleasant warming 11.5% but the body is a little thin. The moisture which dumped around 5 inches of the heavy wet variety was much needed. It was a beautiful winter wonderland walking the dogs. The sun is out now and the melting has begun! :sunglasses:

Clear, very dark mahogany body; thick and velvety light khaki head. Excellent aroma; light caramel and cocoa. The taste follows along the lines of the aroma; richer in character; very mild sweetness; light to moderate hop bitterness; a slight suggestion of grain char. Medium heavy body; smooth and lush on the palate; gentle sweetness throughout offset with a touch of dryness.

This is a very fine and nuanced porter; wonderfully flavorful and soothingly delicious.

I mean, this should look a little familiar.
HA Sailor's Kush - a nice, big, tropical beer break on a Tuesday when I should NOT be working.
    But I am.
On the upside, however, I just ordered a new guitar (Yamaha Dreadnought TransAcoustic). So stoked. I know at least @LarryV will be excited for me.
    Cheers!

We are living in amazing times when we have to settle for regular KBS, instead of KBS Espresso - and then you follow it with a Mackinac!

I remember picking up a single bottle of KBS from a random Glasgow bottle shop, stunned that I could find it. I remember my first CBS (on draught!), when they re-released it as a surprise alongside the annual KBS release. I remember when KBS was absolutely, simply legendary - and we're now spoiled enough to go, "Yeah, it's gooooood, but .... man, those variants!" :grinning:
