Really enjoying the space tuber and most of all, the camp nelson. Thanks to those that posted for the heads up.

To my knowledge, anything you order online will be the second batch of Camp Nelson and either the 2nd or 3rd batch of Citra. There may be a few stragglers of the first batch of Citra in the fridge at the pub/backyard.

Datecoder is still down, but pack-teks are dated with the ol' supermarket pricetag shooter.

Thanks for the heads up. Assuming it makes it my way, I’m looking forward to trying some citra!

Eric, as a long time purveyor of KRBC Citra and a dude who has braved the winding Kern County country roads to que up for the OG, I can say there are few flavors better in beerdom than the fine taste of nostalgia.

Guys, I have to say...Getting a box delivered to my door on 11/18 of Citra cans dated 11/16 is pretty awesome.

The hoppy red is phenomenal as well.

Has anyone seen Citra in stores in LA/OC?

Picked up 2 cans at Bradley’s Liquor in Tustin for $4.99 each. I believe 4 packs were $15.99 (I should have just grabbed one instead). Either way, I am crushing one now and I can see why this beer was once world class. It’s aromatic as all hell and it’s tasting fantastic.

Had the Camp Nelson and it was very nice. (And I’ve had a lot of Nelson ipa’s)
Would be nice to see a canning date on these though, that’s why I often don’t buy this brand unless I know it’s a fresh drop.

I ended up getting some Citra today at Windsor Anaheim if anyone is looking for it.

I got some at Bottlecraft Little Italy, San Diego on Wednesday 11/25 but my local store here in Lake Forest, Dimension Liqour, got it in too.

Camp Nelson IPA tastes like well hopped wildfire smoke, or do I have C19?

Thought it was pretty okay a few days fresh but for me the Nelson fell off quickly.

No smoke though, so can't rule out your 'rona.

Picked some up yesterday for the first time and it's tasting great. Big hop flavor but no smoke. Kern is right up there with Beachwood for my favorite breweries. Luckily plenty of their beers are floating around the OC.

@KRBCEric any chance to grab cans and sit outside while waiting for a friend to get to town to head out backpacking on Friday?

Our So Cal distributor opted not to Carry Class V in Q1 2021, but we will be making it again for distro by mail, Kern County and elsewhere. Might still be some lingering on shelves down there, just getting better with age...

Our outdoor seating is closed for now, unless you are waiting for pick-up food. If you are looking for a nice place to have a beer while still in cell range, I would suggest the riverside park downtown. I have never encountered any enforcement there on open containers. Where are you going backpacking?
