I noticed the proxy option as well although I thought the original announcement said no to that... sooo who knows?!?

Yeah, I saw that, and assumed it's fine to pickup anytime the 26th to the 6th, but the countdown timer, and my actual purchase notice in Oznr designates the 27th, specifically, so I wasn't sure. Anyone else's look different?

 

Not everyone won. I do appreciate the loser email from Oznr though.

I got a loser email and an email from Binny's reminding me of pickup times for BCBS within 20 minutes of each other. It's like some higher power is trying to say "before you whine like an asshole, remember that we cut you a break on one of these things."

 

When the countdown ends, the QR code will show up so you can redeem. That’s all the countdown means.

 

Ah okay, I was confused since I've never won before via this app and it had the "claim" option greyscaled, so I was wondering if I needed to do something else or just pick it up sometime in that week period.

 

Thanks for that info. My first purchase/win through Oznr, so had no idea, and the Claim option was grayed out.

 

My lottery drought continues. I'm pretty sure the last lottery I won was the Roaming Elephant lottery, and the last lottery I won before that was 2018 Prop Day. I'm thinking about looking into this Santeria thing, anyone know where I can get some live chickens during a pandemic?

 

Apparently they set it up to allow proxies and everyone jumped on it so now proxies are allowed. Im assuming this will start riots...

 

They clarified on IG that the proxy thing was a mistake, they aren’t allowing proxies.

edit: then in the next comment they said they changed their minds and are in fact allowing proxies.

 

The original rules said no proxies. That’s silly to change

 

Yeah, you can get live chickens via an online lottery on OZNR coming up soon.

 

Saying no proxies up front while the lottery window was open achieved the desired effect of minimizing muling and flipping and long distance purchases. Allowing it after the fact just makes it easier for pickups.

More importantly, the only reason they are doing it now is that they screwed up on Oznr and had a spot to designate the proxy, which disables the pickup link for the original purchaser and some people had already done that despite what the prior rules were. To reverse all that just to maintain no proxies when it didn’t even matter anymore, was either impossible or not worth the effort.

they said on twitter you shouldn't use the proxy button. Was a mistake in setting up OZNR. We should all crucify them like on that other thread.
