What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #2961

Starting this day off with a little chocolate milk. First time with the nitro version. Creamy and delicious. Cheers Matt and I will get another 4 pack of that if I see it again.

 

I must also say, I bought another four-pack of this beer yesterday. Will have some kind of Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout tonight. Happy Saturday, advocates!

 

Wow! I usually don't like Bitburger beers but this is amazing

Really pleasing coffee Impy stout but the only resemblance I see to KBS is the name 4.11, rDev -7%.

Last new to me beer from the Schlafly Stout Bout mixed 12 pack I picked up last month.

Berry Brunch Stout
A 5.7% stout with blueberries, blackberries and coffee added. A little too tart and not stout enough for me to get on board. I do enjoy the oatmeal, export & Mexican stouts that round out the box, so there's that.

Cellarmaker Mt Cook, an IPA. This will be my new beer weekend entry later on... decided to have a 2nd one of these (friend dropped off the other 3 after I threatened his life, basically). This beer is so good. Damn you antiquated beer distro laws! Wish we could get it here... and wish I could get to NZ some year.... make it a chill day, folks.

I slept in this morning...back from running some errands, including getting more beer tasting log books...keeping with the holiday theme this weekend - Hardywood’s “Gingerbread Stout”, an Imperial Milk Stout with Cinnamon, Vanilla, Ginger and Honey:



Canned 10/26/20. Poured at 54 degrees. Definitely delivers on the ginger and cinnamon. Not getting the chocolate or vanilla. Spices mask base flavors. Too much Ginger, not enough Mary Ann imo...

Seriously considered lining up for the Brandy Barrel Aged Hunahpu bottle release (first since 2013, less than 450 bottles) at CCB at 10am today; got up at 3am and started getting ready, then came to my senses - I’d be lined up with hundreds of people for hours during a pandemic, many sharing beers, stories and virus...I went back to bed...
