Have a good Sunday. Girlfriend came over for the night again. We watched Jack Ryan and the original Macgyver tonight on the roku. Had a science discussion about space travel during the show, always have amazing talks anywhere. Another photogenic picture of us tonight. Chuck decided to be cute for once instead of tormenting Bo for 5 minutes.

We shared a 2014 Drie Gueuze. She loved it a lot! I noticed a lot more barnyard and leather funk notes along with green apple, grape, and lemon. Looks like we have a new lambic convert, but to be fair she was always into dry white wines. Carbonation was not very effervescent, but this was still really crisp, and pretty refreshing. 4.4

    Cheers

    Amazing set for sure.

Good day advocates. Hope everyone is drinking well while staying safe. Currently sipping on some Goose Island Anniversary Bourbon County. An amazing Stout aged for two years in Weller 12 Year barrels. I look forward to the release every year and I make sure to stock up. Cheers

[IMG] This is old school, plenty of malt to go with the hops. Cheers all.

Just been watching youtube all morning. Had a few subscriptions to catch up with. GMM and Bigclivedotcom mostly. I had let my girlfriend try a mood enhancement supplement I have been using all year. She really loved it. Definitely makes everything feel really amazing.

    Amazing as usual.

Starting the last day of my long weekend with a Founder’s Backwood Bastard. Another one that I forget about at times. Glad I am revisiting today. So darn good...

    Stay safe everyone!

Good day BAs! Off to a clear, chilly start to the day! Today's New Breakfast Beer, last of the four-pack:

Personally, I think the "KBS" tag is to increase sales - this is a good stout that can stand on its own - even lacking the bourbon oakiness of KBS. Rating 4.24, rDev -6.6%.

This beer is wonderful to drink on a chilly Sunday morning! I am going to attempt to make pancakes. I have never really been good at it, and no matter what I try, I just cannot get it figured out. Just like the Chicago Bears offense.

[IMG] This one is very nice, I was a little nervous because Stouts with fruit aren’t normally my thing but this is really chewy and tasty.

Living in Illinois I really enjoy supporting the local breweries. But the two days when the Packers play the Bears no Illinois beer is consumed in our house! Go Pack Go!
This peanut butter banana stout from Narrow Gauge just absolutely brings out those flavors so well. Amazing

It has been a hectic morning but all is good over in my corner of the world. Hope everyone gets to have a lazy Sunday. As for breakfast... I have been kind of predictable recently and the trend continues. I would have rather have a Fudge KBS but its all sold out everywhere in my area, I was able to get 12 bottles even though they were 1pp 4-packs so I can't really complain.

    Cheers everyone!

Lazy Sunday morning here at chez Zombies...the dogs let me sleep in...walking, feeding, some kitchen cleaning done - coffee time! Adding to this morning’s already stellar KBS bar participants, KBS Espresso:

Bottled 10/21/20. Poured at 53°. Bitter roast coffee nose/taste, followed by bourbon and chocolate. Oaky dry barrel finish. I looked for more in my weekend beer travels, but found none. An excellent BA coffee stout, and I’ll keep my eye out for more. Cheers and have a superb Sunday y’all!
