I’ve had 3 hazies from them and none of them have been good. But hype rules everything. Sounds like they are 450 West. Heavily fruited, low abv “beers”. Enjoy.

People have to get their daily fruit servings somewhere, so might as well be from budget hype cans from an owner who thinks he's better than everyone else.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a bottle of popov vodka and a carton of minute maid?

But you can’t post sick pictures of your “beer” on Instagram and get all the likes from fellow beer broz!

I've posted this before but I went to King's a few years ago and asked what hoppy beers they had on and the dude said their beers weren't hoppy and then pointed to the board that was mostly 'IPA'.

if you like fruited beers their frose's are good but not cheap. 26 a 4 pack. Their hazy's are average but I've had a few triple IPA's from them that have all been really good.

Some people are really into Kings. I've been there twice a few years ago, flights both times, and I'm in agreement with the people hating on them in this thread. There's a market for this kind of stuff, but your average craft beer drinker should probably skip them.

Sour Cellars is near there and I would visit them if you're making the trip to Kings. Depending on which direction you're coming in from, I'd recommend Wicks, Homage, and Last Name all in the Inland Empire. Last Name is more traditional styles. Wicks and Homage will have more creative interpretations.

I feel like this is a very objective representation of this brewery. If you read this quote and are interested, you should visit. :joy:

So you're essentially calling this art. I'm sure the head brewer would be most appreciative. I just stated the recent ipa's they released I liked in order, nothing more. This is by no means a representation of their craft though you seem to insinuate doubt. As I said before, they're consistent with their frose's. if that's your thing, try them out

I'm sure I could get the same taste, if not better from the slushie machines at 7-11, in a mega gulp cup for a lot cheaper than what this brewery charges for a 4 pack.

Sure, I could go with art as a description of what they're doing. I'm not disagreeing with you at all, if frose is a type of beer you're into, this is a brewery you should check out.

I think it's normally frozen, blended rose wine, often served at brunch-type places in the summer. But in this case it's probably one of those beers that explodes if it gets warm (I honestly don't know either).

Was at Crooked Stave during GABF a few years ago and happened to share a table with some brewers/reps from Kings. I usually follow the “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” adage when it comes to breweries, but these guys were so cocky and really seemed to be in it only for the cash grab that I’m making an exception. Things may have changed since then but they were all about their customers being suckers for the $6 cans of whatever hops they got from the spot market and didn’t seem to care whether their technical processes produced clean beer because the hops would hide it.

They've been like this since before the brewery opened and nothing has changed. There's countless stories from industry people talking about how awful they are.

To update this thread I had the pleasure of tasting a few beers from a co-worker who has family in this area. I was able to contact the brewer with a question and got a good prompt response.

I've had 4 beers to date, I enjoyed all of them. Their prices are going up but I was impressed with the Everything Mango. I see a lot of crap on their yelp reviews. For now I was impressed with the way they've pulled off the dessert style smoothie beer. Not something I drink often but when I do nothing worse than that nasty yeasty finish that follow way too many of them.
