    Slept in this coldest day yet...a brisk 46° walk with dogs, and feeding completed...it actually feels like stout weather! Founders’ Breakfast Stout:

    Poured at 54°. Bottled 10/8/20. I was struck by how much chocolate was upfront on this morning’s offer...I’ll grab more during today’s liquor store and grocery store runs. Have a warm and wonderful Wednesday y’all - Cheers!

    Spent the night at my girl's house. We are watching South park since last night. She told me she'd marry me if i propose, so I'll wait until she lives with me for a while. Having a BA ten fidy.

    I'm having a little bit of buyer's remorse on this local beer. A bit of a let-down from the last White Dog I had. Not a drain-pour by any means, but sorta having one of those "Damn I coulda' had a V8" moments.

    #2. Decent beer, I don't like it as much as GITM. I still have yet to try to DDH GITM yet

    I need to crack one of those decon bombs and see if it is worth going to buy a case or the past 2 years has killed them. $12.50 a four pack! I paid more then that for a single Prairie farmhouse bottle just a few days ago

    If these deconstructed 4-packs are still of a quality that isn't bad you are going to see me drinking them thru the rest of 2020. I'll get back to everyone once I started trying them, probably tomorrow. Recent Untappd ratings are decent Im kind of hyped. I've only had one bad bottle from Prairie and it has a few years on it.

    Todays I am thankful for southern Triple IPAs and cheap stouts. I think I'm gonna cooking something now

    Beautiful sunny Chicago December mid 40s day. Heading for a nice long walk after this Lagunitas Born Yesterday, somewhat mellow at this point but still very enjoyable.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

    Clear, light gold body; excellent carbonation; thick and rocky white head; spidery fingers of lacing knit across the inside of the glass. Decent aroma, fairly complex; a bit of tropical fruit blended with an herbal, grassy quality; mild pineapple. A light biscuit flavor anchors the taste and accented with a moderate hop bitterness; pine resin; mild pepper presence. Medium body; semi-smooth yet also with a bit of a tingling roughness on the palate; moderately dry.

    All in all, a decent west coast styled IPA.
