Just opened my bottle- as soon as the seal broke, beer spewed everywhere. It sprayed all over my carpet, computer, clothes, and desk. I have never seen a gusher like this in my life.

    Be careful!

Did you chill for 24hrs? If not... user error.

I mentioned this in the Jester King thread and Jeff replied saying to make sure to put it in the fridge for a full 24 hours before opening. I still haven't opened my second bottle.

    This.

We enjoyed a bottle Tuesday night. Minor foam, no beer loss, all good.

Make sure you chill it prior to enjoying it.

Plan on opening one tonight. I'll be careful.

    Sounds like a backyarder!

The WBDPP I opened a couple months ago wasn't too bad. Foamy in the glass, but not a gusher. Really looking forward to Funk Metal.

Does it say to chill 24 hours on the bottle?

Yes. I think most, if not all, JK bottles say it,

    Just opened one. Slow gusher.
I do have to say though, I hate the chemical sour taste that jester king has. I was hoping thus one would be different, but it isn't. Nowhere near as smooth as tart of darkness. That chemical taste is really disruptive.

Besides Commercial Suicide...?? I recall an undercarbed Weasel and Boxers. But only Commercial Suicide being overcarbed. And people can't expect to pull in the driveway, off the dirt road, with Funk Metal in the passenger seat, after an hour drive from the beer store, and expect it not to foam everywhere after opening it as soon as they walk in their door.

2011 Boxers initially had a carb issue. I did a side by side with this years release and my '11 was perfectly carbed.
