Pipeworks Brewing Company (2020)

Saw some at Binny's SLoop today.

 

Bought the last 4-pack from the Beer Cellar tonight

 

Looks like P-Dubs dropped 3 new beers today on their curbside to go. One's a collab with Old Irving,

 

Ooh, Forest Fauna is back! Excellent.

 

Anyone know how this compares to Twin Pines Mall? I freaking loved that beer, but have disliked almost every other spruce beer I’ve tried.

 

Twin Pines was a double with honey I believe. So that cut the spruce a bit. I feel the same about spruce (a little goes a long way), but I really enjoyed FF. It was very west coast style with simcoe and centennial, so they dialed down the spruce to not overdo it. I thought it worked very well.

 

Finally, Infinite Galaxy is back!

 

Just drank my last cherry truffle abduction last night. Still drinking pretty pretty good

Beating a dead horse but how nice would it be if PW announced some barrel aged beers this month?

I really miss BA Jones dog and hyper dog.

 

I would take either or both of those! BA Hyper especially!

 

Drinking apple brandy Jones dog right now. Somehow this beer is STILL hot, but it's delicious. The vanilla comes out really nicely with the brandy

 

Really making me miss BA Pipeworks. Although if they do want to come back my wallet wouldn't mind if they waited a few months.

 

Drinking a Blood of the Unicorn, and man between this and Sierra Nevada Celebration, was exactly the break I needed from haze.

 

There should be bright red notice for new posts in this thread that says "no new barrel aged beer".

Not because the posts here aren't worthy, but because so many of us are so thirsty* for barrel aged Pipeworks beer.
