I waited 2.5 hours then got inside to wait another so it wasn’t terrible but there’s always the chance you wait and something happens then you can’t see anybody

 

Well, if I have to roll the dice and try something new with no BA ratings at least I only bought one can of this new hazy. A very pretty can; part of their Project X collab with artists, but definitely don't judge this lack-luster liquid book by its pretty cover. Sorry Mother Earth Brewing....I call this a miss. No head, no lacing, only faint smell and unremarkable taste for $3.25/16oz

 

Made an eggcellent fried egg and avocado sandwich on wheat toast with some mustard, paprika, salt and pepper for lunch, then reached for a Ballmer Peak Trillium & Equilibrium TIPA collab canned a few weeks back. Pretty nice, a little sweet, floral dankness, tropical stone fruits and orange citrus, good showcase of Citra hops. Cheers all!


this is usually a band that I put on a whole album or live concert of, it's nice to listen to the individual songs too though


also just bought the EBF Cyberspace package since it seems I'll most likely still be at home in a couple months, as conditions don't improve and the cold forces more people inside around here

Covid boredom and money got all this on an ASUS TUF gaming O4GB 1650 I bought for my old computer before I decided to upgrade to a real gamer. Ryzen 7 3800X on an ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus with 128GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB. Win 10 Raid 0 on FireCuda SSDs. Waiting for a 3090.

Birrrificio Pontino (ITA) - MAGIC CIRCE - Session Ipa (4%)
Already reviewed and added to the terminal.
On the nose, fresh hops reminiscent of tropical and summer fruit notes and a little citrus.
Not limpid straw yellow color, always a little opaque. Not completely clean.
Soft and tasty foam, which stays on the surface on the beer.
Classic body of a Session Ipa (light, smooth).
In the mouth the hopped part predominates but a slightly biscuit note of the malts is also perceived and is created in an appreciable balance. In the glass fruity notes (mango, melon) but also citric (orange peel) and floral (bitter that also releases herbaceous notes).
Maybe a bit too bitter to be a Session Ipa intended for a large audience in the summer season, but for my taste this is only a positive thing.
One of the best of the Pontino Brewery in my opinion. At least among the hops.

Only slept about two hours last night because I am @Insomniac. Would like to make a movie tonight, but will need a serious second wind. On the plus side, the beer is more “effective” when you’re really tired.

Second beer of the day is Mimmi Mimosa from Omnipollo. It’s a 7% fruited Sour. If you did a couple hours of yard work on a hot day, you couldn’t have enough of these in the fridge. Cheers.
