Drinking a prop 2019. Taste like vanilla, coconut, and chocolate cake soaked in bourbon. Rich and complex and gets so much better as it warms. Might be the best bourbon county varient I've had to date cheers

Crak - GRAPE OF TOMORROW - Double Dry Hopping Grape Ipa (7,5%)

PRESENTATION:
This is a ONE SHOT of the independent agricultural brewery CRAK (one of the best Italian realities, especially on hopped beers).
is the brewery's contribution to UK retailer Honest Brew's project, which involved 5 other breweries in creating their own "beer of the future", designated for the "drinker of the future".
It is a Double Dry Hopping Ipa with Mosaic, Citra, Strata and Nelson Sauvin hops and yellow Moscato grape must (historic vine brought to Italy by the ancient Greeks and widely spread in the region where the brewery resides, Veneto, in the north)

TASTING:
On the nose immediately boquet of tropical fruit (I feel: pineapple, melon, passion fruit) and citrus fruits (I feel: ripe orange peel and cedar).
Little foam, even with a vertical pour, evanescent and which disappears completely (not even a veil remains on the surface).
Hazy yellow color, lighter on the surface, darker looking down into the glass.
In the mouth, immediately yellow-fleshed fruit and citrus.
Minimal carbonation (almost non-existent), medium body.
Light bitterness that does not "dry" the beer that remains fruity even after drinking.
Honestly at first I did not notice the contribution of the grape must, when the beer reaches a temperature closer to that of the environment, you can actually see a slightly savory note that could refer to that grape variety but, in any case , honestly I would not have noticed if I had not gone in search ... probably even those notes of grapefruit and citrus typical of that grape I would have brought them back to the hops used.
In any case, a fairly full-bodied, fruity, fresh and pleasant beer ... I see it as a traditional Double Dry Hopping Ipa having not fully grasped the impact of the grape must that should have characterized it.

I don't think anyone will ever be able to taste it, but for the sake of completeness, I'll immediately add it to the terminal.

Happy Saturday, BAs! Starting out with some DDH Punge with Galaxy. The base beer might be my favorite Nelson offering, and the addition of Galaxy only improves it.

Guayabera in the sunny 62 degree air. May be the only lunch beer, the wife is making Dole pineapple soft serve ice cream with spiced rum like we get at EPCOT.

 

Cans......hmmmm.....I really love this beer. Might need to check for a can or two this week. Not had this since the 750 bottles.

Be back later I think. Fell asleep after a few Celebrations last night. I have a few goodies lined up for after all the things I need to get done outside today.
