If last time is any indication, they are all gone with the pre-sale.

Last month the two crowlers were only available via the VIP presale. I would guess this would also be the case, but I have nothing else to base that on.

It has the same wording as last month where they said "when it's gone, it's gone", so I wouldn't expect more tomorrow.

Does anyone know what the deal is with accumulated $20 credits for rewards (since they aren't being applied to release invoices currently)? Is there a way to see how many you have or to use them going forward?

I think you can't see them (besides trying to count up in your history your total points and how many redemptions (it looks like "Rewards. $20 for every 300pts $20.00")). And the last word was that to use them it has to be in person, so unfortunately, probably not soon.

Can anyone confirm what time the public presales go live? I thought it was 10am but have been known to be wrong before

Message them on Facebook. They're vey good about responding. Might want to wait until later in the week though as they'll be busy with the public sale tomorrow.

Yeah, I planned on asking next week if there wasn't an answer here. I figured someone here had asked at some point already. Thanks!

Gotcha. And at least in the past, you could weren't supposed to be able to use more than one $20 off at time, so I guess I'll have a number of nice treats coming my way when the world rights itself.

Got this from them when I asked recently.

Unfortunately, our webstore is not connected to the Rev Rewards program, so the $20 rewards are only good onsite at our brewpub & taproom. We're manually adjusting everyone's points for their online purchases. Thus, when we're able to host people in person again, those rewards will be waiting for you.

I was at the brewpub on October 23 right before they closed and used $60 at once. I don't think there is a limit on how much you can use at once. But I'll be testing that out once the brewpub opens again in the spring lol.

Hm. I was at the brewpub last winter and the computer tried to apply both and someone came over and told me it was wrong and only one could apply at a time.

I'm guessing they may be doing things different this year due to Covid. Here is the message I got on Facebook on Sept. 23 when I inquired about using Rev Rewards dollars:

Hey Sam, our system rolls over at 1,500 points, so you technically have 1,531 points total. While the number resets, we still keep track of your points history in our records to keep track of your DWS pre-order status. As for your $20 credits, you should have three of those stored up for a total of $60 in credits. You're right about them only being good at the Brewpub right now - those credits can only be used for on-premise transactions. Just so you know, you have to spend over $60 on your next transaction for all of those credits to be applied, as the system automatically uses them all at once. Hope that helps!

I was definitely not surprised and was hovering this morning for sure. With Rev calling it the "pinnacle" of the 20-21 DW season and it being a Weller barrel treatment this one was a must for me. I would've been surprised with any other outcome.

I know I've had multiple rewards applied on previous in person purchases. Happened at the last Ryeway release. Can see it in my history.

    A) I avoided the crowler thank god
    B) all your reviews of 10 year beer made me think, naw, I had this recently and the cherry was bright and sweet. But I cracked one tonight and it’s crazy how much this has changed. I think because the slight down tick of sweetness has allowed the base beer to shine through more brightly. I get a semi-sweet fruit leather vibe that makes me think:

Not to derail the Ten Year Beer lovefest going on here recently--I had one a month ago, and it's lovely--but I'm enjoying the heck out of a Cuvee de Grace right now.

Wasn't the biggest Cuvee fan. Kinda wish I still had one to see what it's doing!
