Keeping Together

And people say we're biased.

 

How often have they been releasing beers? And what are the odds they'll be releasing something in January?

 

Is it mostly on Instagram that she releases details? I've got family from Chicago planning to come.visit at the end of January and I'm scheming on their muling duties

Anyone have any updates on Keeping Together's plans for 2021? Will they hit local distro at any point? Tenant brew in another space to increase capacity? Open their own space?

 

I don't know of any plans to change things for Keeping Together in 2021. The only 2020/2021 insider Averie Swanson info I have is that she is no longer involved in a brewery that's opening next year in Seattle. Not sure if its because she has other plans or just decided now's not the time or what.

 

Averie and Off Color have a collaboration of some sort in the works.

Notes from Averie: The Grace of Maybe is a 6.0% ABV mixed fermentation saison brewed with lemongrass, re-fermented on white and yellow peaches, and finished with Madagascar vanilla beans. The aroma offers delicate notes of floral stone fruit, lightly toasted meringue, and jasmine tea. The white and yellow peaches present with a juicy ripeness on the palate, followed by flavors of coconut flesh and white pepper. The lemongrass plays a minor supporting role, highlighting the complexity in the soft acidity of the beer. Further revealing itself as a smoky bloom in the finish, the vanilla builds slowly as the beer warms. What is most remarkable to me is the texture of this beer—it is light, fluffy, airy. Like a cloud, offering cirrus wisps of levity...⠀
